He Asked Me To Buy His Silver Under Spot

This week was an exciting one. First, we go to an estate sale where it's loaded with high dollar items we try to buy. From Vintage stereo equipment to Disney prop uniforms. Next, a guy comes into the pawn shop to sell silver one ounces coins and bars and he asks for under the spot price of silver. Lastly, a lady comes in to pawn a necklace that we have to double check to see if it's even real. Don’t worry about what people think. This is a business. We payed 2500 for an amazing fantasy 15 and amazing Spider-Man 1 on top of 50 more golden age comics. They were ungraded so there was a risk but graded genuine and cgc 6.5 for amazing fantasy and 4.5 for Amazing Spider-Man 1. 2500 for now over 100k but at the time worth 40k between the 2. Sold the rest raw for around 16k.

I get that this is a pawn shop , they have to make a living, and they're not a real coin shop. A coin shop would look at the spot price, add a premium if appropriate, and tell you what they'll pay (which is always more than a pawn shop would pay).

What most folks don't understand is that your working with much smaller margins buying/selling coins & bullion than the materials you obtain from yard/estate sales. I see no problems with this deal what-so-ever. Y'all are probably the most honest and fair guys in the business! Keep up the good work.
