I just love how the last line is “don’t let your fear destroy you.” Like he’s finally come to terms and killed his fear and now that he’s learned from it, not to say fear won’t ever crop up again, but it’s nice to see him kind of end a chapter of fear by giving that advice to others, because it’s something that’s taken so long for him to come to terms with. Feels like a nice way to round it off.

This particular song of his is probably the most heavy when it comes to bars because after a bar comes another bar. Which makes sense because the chorus mentioned "I know i can die every moment, If i do just remember this..." in which to how I portrayed it is like passing on life lessons and straight facts about life when he dies. Probably the most favorite song from him. Just straight 🔥🔥🔥

Green lights, Destiny, I can feel it, Remember this, Know and Let me Down are so good. Let me Down is his atonement with his father. That is a huge moment in his psyche. Once you can understand that you can love and hate your parents in the same moment you can move on to another level. In Hindu they teach this.

Love your NF reactions. Just started following you, wanted to witness your NF Journey. He speaks to so many about his Life and the emotions ring so true and raw to so many. Im not a young person like most of Nates fan base, but ill wager I love him just as much if not more than most. I suffer with extreme anxiety and depression and found NF's music watching another reactions videos one day about 1 month ago. I have had extreme trauma in my life that has been locked away, and affected my whole life. When I started listening to NF, I cryed for about 6 hours straight. and when I stopped, it felt like I could take a deep breath for the first time in many years. I cant describe how that felt. Im so thankful I have found him. He is helping me see a better life.

If you want more content similar to NF (and I say that loosely since there's no one else really doing exactly what he is) you should check out Dessa or Watsky. I'd recommend Matches to Paper Dolls, Beekeeper, or Mineshaft 2 for Dessa. She's an extremely emotive and visual rapper/singer, and Beekeeper has a lot of literary references. For Watsky, I'd recommend anything off his Pretty Little Thing Suite Live album, which is an orchestral remastering of four interrelated songs from one of his main albums. He gets into some really philosophical topics on mortality, life and death and the instrumentals are beautiful!

Idk if you have listend to “why” by NF but in that song he straight up rips off the flow of big Sean but addresses that it’s not his flow. Anyways that could be similar to what he’s doing here as you pointed out a lot of the things he’s saying other rappers have said similarly but not as cohesive as this song. NF is still in the world and wants you to know that. He throws in a Mike Posner Mansionz reference in ”Outcast” too.

He was showing homage to Big Sean lol he used big seans flow from bounce back and then said big seans name and album I Decided. That was paying homage. Not ripping off. It is why big sean had the black balloons in his harder then my demons song to pay homage back. Big Sean is his other influence he mentions besides eminem. His album blessings is nates second favorite album. They follow eachother on social media.
