The bath scene that was skipped in the anime makes it fairly obvious (at least that they were affiliated with the ten families in some sense) once we get to that moment with his flashback. Akraptor and Teddybear discuss becoming enemies of Jahad if they team with Viole and neither had any issue with it.

15:25 It's probably the stills and exaggerated pans for me. It just looks so awkward especially during the first 6 mins, as there were a lot of instances where they just show angles then have goofy frame pans. The webtoon had simple panels but shown detailed changes in their faces despite the art style being wacky at some parts, it's still good as the panels were digestible. Only thing to recommend to anyone now is to just watch the episode, then reread the webtoon up to where the anime cuts off.

yeah this episode was a bit weaker animation-wise but im pretty sure theyre saving that budget for the real important scenes, like maybe even for the rest of the battle between viole and love but also for all the things that are yet to come which are going to be so hype it's gonna be crazyyyy

I think the season 1 animation was way cooler and more unique. Everything seemed vibrant and the art style made the world seem alive. Still good here but looks and feels like every other series now. Lost its unique look.

@@luckyjay8706 Changing the art style is fine if that's the direction they wanted to go in. Nothing wrong with that. JJK did something similar. The problem is that the animation and directing have been lackluster at best so far, and combined with a less unique and more generic-looking style, hurts far more than it helps. No fluidity, most of the attacks lack any real impact to them. It's sad.

Yeah, S1 clears this by a longshot. Honestly, if they couldn't be bothered to put their best foot forward for the first episode to leave a strong first impression, I don't have much faith in them doing much more for any of the grander moments either. Even Blue Lock, which was carried by its art and effects for most of the season, had a very strong first episode, despite it being misleading in terms setting expectations going forward. If anything, I think S2 so far has done a great job of setting expectations. We shouldn't expect anything above mediocrity at best going forward in the production department. Maybe the story and characters can carry.

No matter how strong bam is he still can’t defeat a ranker (tog power system is the best one i’ve seen honestly), also about freezing lov in the first pitch well… even if bam did he only can do it for a moment just like how it went in the second pitch, his power effectiveness depends on the opponents, it lasted long with yihwa and prince because he’s stronger than them but with a ranker it’s a different story.
