Someone on another reaction to this made an interesting comparison. The original Papa roach version is the "angsy teenager", and the Falling in Reverse version is the "exhausted middle-aged man" version. The reasons and the attitudes towards the subject matter are so entirely differnet from each other. May I recommend Popular Monster? It was my introduction to Falling in Reverse, and both you and Danny may dig it.

I heard some people really hating on the song. Personally, I love this version. With the original, I heard the lyrics but never truly graps them. Ronnie's version really makes you focus on the lyrics and you can truly graps what was intended. I also love how this is supposed to be after he goes super nova on watch the world burn, realizing that he's losing his mind and fixing the madness within.

All I have to say to the haters is they should watch Jacoby Shaddix react to the raw uncut version of the song. He was blown away and giddy. If he loves it so much, why can't other people?

The whole time they listened Ronnie had his hands behind his back head bowed a bit and would look over at Jacoby every one in a while to see Jacoby so into it. Was so great to see.

I can't wait to see you show Danny Tom MacDonald and especially can't wait until you show him Nova! You gotta hit him with Hey You for his first Nova song or Call Me Batman or Problem just to show off the rapping skills of the multi talented beast that is Nova! Tom says this year is going to be huge and fingers crossed the collab between Tom and Ronnie we've been waiting for is coming, they are friends and have talked about collaboration in the past and I watched a live a couple of months ago of Tom's where someone asked about when might get the collab with Ronnie and Tom said he's just waiting on Ronnie to let him know when he's ready and that Ronnie is the homie! Love how a lot of these very talented artists are friends. 2 things I wanna say... 1) I think this video at the end was like the reverse of what happened in the end of the Watch The World Burn video, which is why I think that it was a great idea to show your brother them In that order. 2) That lyric "Wish someone would tell me I'm fine" always hits hard. In voices in my head we go into his head, and in WTWB he says at the beginning he's got voices in his head again. So what if Last Resort is actually what's going on in his head as he is burning the world down. In WTWB he shoots out the laser eyes at 3:08. In Last resort the world freezes at 3:08. The world burns down at 3:23. He starts building it up at 3:50 in LRR. 33 seconds difference. The numbers on the plane in WTWB was 2033. Probably just a coincidence, I just like finding how numbers connect lol

I’m a big Papa Roach fan…. I really like them. Their version gives me the angry emo vibe that was very popular in early 2000’s This version, all the same lyrics just different delivery comes across like a cry for help…. Amazing how the same exact song can be so different based on the delivery/performance. I love both of them….. and shout out to Papa Roach for writing such powerful lyrics to begin with!!!

i would suggest for the both of ya some of the older stuff, Raised by wolves, Chemical Prisoner (his dad is the biker behind him), Coming Home, Alone, Rolling stone (you shoulda heard these 3 songs referenced in Loosing my Life), Sexy Drug, Just Like You, Brother (a sadder heartfelt song about his brother who passed away), F*ck you and all your friends (a dis to his previous band), Bad Girls Club, Champion, Fashionably Late, Born to lead, Its over when its over, Game Over (a funny song with lots of gamer stuff), ... Situations from Escape the Fate (before he went to prison and was kicked out).... i've only seen 1 or 2 other reactors dive deep into the older stuff its always the same 6 or 8 songs that get chosen. honestly those of us saying MORE FIR just start at the first song released and GO lol :P

this brings chills to me because I love papa roach and this song is so iconic it was the song that brought the youth struggling with life to light so many in dark place and them screaming for help and being ignored. and now we have this and it shows a much more darker level of that fear you have been screaming for help you are worn out and you literally have nothing left to live for and you are in tears begging for someone to help you on your hands and knees lost in absolute despair begging for help. my friends have kinda made this observation the original is you just pissed off and fuming over no one giving a fuck and at the end of your ropes while this one is literally you slamming your fist and head on the ground wishing anyone anyone at all would hear you as you have nothing more to live for and death is your best option but you don't want it but what more do you have.
