Yellow here! Was my first time playing in a commie game and it was a ton of fun! To avoid spoilers i will be making a bit of space here. I have learned a ton of things due to this particular game of which i wasn't aware of while playing. 1. I couldn't figure out how treason worked. I spent over 1k gold on it, but was allied with everyone, so i didn't see anyones king. After that i didn't bother for the rest of the game and if i did i would have definitely sniped teal. This bugged me fr, because it may be changing the whole game with teal and orange out of the picture :D 2. I knew there was wonder victory, but completely forgot about it in the heat of the game, but even if i remembered i had like 8 vils left as soon as i had to leave the main land :D 3. Definitely should not have hoped for a turn of blue, but i was too naive since it was my first time :D 4. Thanks to purp for being such a loving and caring teammate

32:11 I think this beautiful play of politics right here flew a bit under the radar. Not only is purple asking yellow to protect him, giving him the sensation of trust, he's _also_ ensuring that his neighbour who he's just heard might be scheming against him _has a bunch of his population tied up on water._ That's a brilliant maneuver! On the one hand, he's protected from naval attacks by a bunch of thirisadai; and on the other hand the door is wide open if he does need to show yellow who's boss! Sorry, I felt that that needed to be given the respect it deserved.

I don’t know if this is possible from a map editor standpoint- but I think it would really help if king explosions didn’t kill resources. This would offer a large incentive for being more proactive in the early game (you get to take all the persons resources) and would hopefully prevent the initial 45 min-1 hr snooze fests - not that this one was particularly bad when compared to others - but i just thought of it now

Yellow and Purple are the definition of true love. Purple is so caring and nurturing (was protecting Yellow in the early stage, shielding him from the danger of the world), then Yellow grows up and becomes stronger, "simping" and listening to Purple's guidance. When Purple gets weaker, Yellow provides shelter for him. Their relationship is just wholesome.

Sad Grey died when he was the first one to snipe.. and he killed the top dog. Sad Purple's eloquent speech failed him. Sad Yellow couldn't inflict more damage on blue. .... Not bad that Teal survived way longer than any of us thought. Overall an exemplary community game.

Yeah in hindsight i (am yellow btw) should have definitely used my navy more proactive after orange was dead, but i was a bit too stressed with the land aspect of the game to think of that earlier. That's where my elo showed :D

Spoilers inside So many minor things that could've changed the game for purple and especially yellow. One treason and you find 2 king ships in the corner. Purple announcing to the world that his king is on the way. Yellow forgetting about wonder victory while they still had the navy to defend. Overall a very enjoyable game with lots of surprises.

Purple needed walls so badly. He had no hope of matching the enemy cav with halbs man for man in a 3v1 so he desperately needed to funnel them with walls. and let his Houfnice do the work. When defense is paramount a rock shield is better than a meat shield.

I was thinking that if he pulled blue's army in towards the 40-50 paladins teal still had while he was being followed by blue's whole army, he could have done more damage to his main army. After that, then he'd have a bunch of huszars in queue and THEN loop around with the 7 or so trebs to get the snipe.
