fun fact: this lizard is called a fish-scale gecko! theyre called that because when theyre touched, their scales come off individually as a defense mechanism! also, they have magnificent scales similar to a fish. these little lads are to be looked at and not touched so they dont end up scaleless :) source: many years of researching reptiles edit: holy cow i did not anticipate this comment to get so much attention! thanks! some FAQs in the replies are: 1) do they grow their scales back? yes, they do! it only takes a few weeks or so. 2) so I cant pet them? they prefer their cuteness to be appreciated from a distance :) 3) are you sure it's not a mourning gecko? yes, i am. while they do indeed look similar, the general shape of their body, head, and tail is distinct to a fish scale gecko. the folks who believe that it's not aren't taking into account that we're only seeing its belly, which is a different color and scale pattern than their topside. there was a whole reddit debate about what species this gecko is, and everyone ended up agreeing that it must be a fish scale. the sheer amount of arguing in the replies is silly.

How about "The Kekecko" which means it belongs to the kekeflipnote genus of animals.
