So glad i saw your reactions. We, ARMY, are always in awe of the musical genius that is JK. JungKook was born from the world of Kpop but he and BTS are not Kpop. He is the youngest member of BTS, A 7 member group that rivals the celebrity of the Beatles. They transformed into their own thing by not sticking to stereotypes, musical or content/lyrics. They are making the world a bit smaller and uniting us in our love for good music and beautiful souls. I recommend you take a look at JKs full solo album Golden. His voice is golden. Then maybe, listen to a few other BTS members solo songs. Each is a powerhouse on their own but developed together and became something other. BTS are breaking barriers: national, racial, geographical, and even musical. We have expectations of what Kpop or other genres are and we neglect to be open to the fact the AMERICA is NOT the only place that new musical expression is born. Love that they are breaking expectations. Btw, BTS has three rappers with their own styles. And it’s basically written poetry. So beautiful. Keep going! Usher called JK and asked for this remix. "Where did this come from??" ?? What do you mean? BTS didn't drop out of the blue sky. LOL, BTS have been together for more than a decade. They have 20 albums as a group, 15 solo albums among members, and many other collabs, singles, OSTs and covers. There are very good reasons they are huge global artists who fill the biggest stadiums in the world, all over the world with an incredibly diverse fanbase across all cultures that is majority 30+ and almost half men. They are a crazy diverse, insanely talented artist collective of 7 genius artists who write, compose, produce, sing, rap and dance at the highest levels. They are known for their musical diversity, choreography and the depth of their lyricism, among other things. I'm glad for you that you have finally discovered them and I wish you every happiness in exploring their deep discography that is many hundreds of songs deep and includes collabs with Erykah Badu, Wale, Halsey, Steve Aoki, Megan Thee Stallion, Warren G, Justin Timberlake, J Cole, and many, many more.

72 year old BTS Army here. Please watch the original MV. Jungkook or JK for short is the main vocalist for the Global phenomenon BTS. BTS was recently named as the "Most Streamed Group of All Time". His label announced this track as a subtle homage to MJ. It was his third Official solo release leading up to his record setting album "Golden" that currently has 4.1 billion streams. Jung Kook is known for his rare perfect pitch. He did a big feature song with Charlie Puth called "Left and Right" a couple of years ago. Charlie is known for his perfect pitch and commented on JK having it as well. None of Jung Kook's solo releases are Kpop. They are all English and all American productions and should not be considered Kpop for that reason. Even his dancers are famous American dancer/choreographers. Jungkook and Pdogg (vocal director) are the only South Koreans involved with creating his solo work.
