He Discovers He's Really A Cop, The Hard Way

Florida Fish And Wildlife Officers were conducting safety inspections at the Anclote River Park boat ramp In Pasco County when a man approached them expressing his discontent over their law enforcement techniques. Shortly after that same man was given a safety inspection where he was extremely difficult, and eventually left officers before he could be written a warning ticket. The officers then conducted a traffic stop where the man was charged with Obstruction of an FWC Officer. But the case was closed later on due to Pre Trial Intervention, as long as the man agreed to complete anger management classes.

To be fair the FWC being able to violate the 4th amendment whenever they want is some bullshit. We know they can do it because we watch these videos but the average person may be under the impression that they need PC/warrant to pull this shit. I can totally understand this old guy. My dad was an ex marine and in his last year of living, he got arrested 3 times from basic traffic stops and cops thinking he was driving drunk. I was at this boat ramp once using my kayak and a teenager got busted for possession of THC cartridge during a safety inspection. His friends started acting chaotic shouting, “we know out rights”, and recording the arrest. Their assumption was that laws pertaining to vessels are the same as vehicles and the officers needed a reason for suspicion in order to confront them.
