Check out one of the bands Ren was in, The Big Push playing "Sweet Little Lady (live acoustic)" and you'll get to see bleached blonde Ren doing some beatboxing. Also, he references Tolkien even more than Led Zeppelin did. I kinda feel bad for you, that in 4 months, you've only heard 6 songs by Ren. Yeah, he has A LOT of heavy songs that would derail your day, but he's also got A LOT of songs that'll energize your day. I hope, for your own enjoyment, that it doesn't take you all year to get to them.

That was the video that made me go "OH. Oh no. This is too hot." Like I already thought he was a good looking dude but I didn't need to find him THAT attractive on top of already being a total fangirl on talent alone. ...anyways, thirst aside, def a great energy to the song and video and The Big Push is SUCH a blast to explore! Bongo Bong is a fave cover of mine from them, but also any busking session with Ren in the red suspenders is pretty well loved by fans.

Yeah, I've seen some YT creators call the writing on Ren's songs (especially this one) "word diarrhea" before, but they miss the point. This is a song that gives a glimpse into someone whose mind is manic, jumping from one subject to another without control. It's not word diarrhea, it's genius.

Right, first let's ruin the innocence! "All the King's horses and all the King's men, couldn't put Humpty together again"...the horses went to the glue factory...they became the glue to stick Humpty together...that line is not about the horses helping out XD Secondly: This song was BRILLIANT...there was a lot to love here, the lyrics are *chef's kiss* and I'm so glad we got to see this! Thank you to Jess for getting another wonderful Ren song in front of you! Always an absolute joy! Thirdly, thank you for reacting and enjoying the lyrics and repeating the lyrics too. Some of those parts were too fast for my ears to pick up the first time so having you replay gave me more focus and I really appreciate that. This looked like so much fun to film! Finally, I really love this new set up, it gives us loads to look at and get to know you while still giving plenty of space for the video and your reaction. "Doctor Doctor give me some smiles..." "Flow like the Nile, evil crocodile" there is a subliminal tie in here with a common phrase "crocodile smiles". Crocodiles "smile" in order to cool down. Also Mel Gibson wore double denim so not only does Ren tie bars together with matching sounds but with cultural references as well.

Well Ren isn’t quite beat boxing in this one… but he of course can 😂 And he does in The Hunger. An absolutely brilliant track that you should definitely check out too. Also just off the top of my head, I can think of 4 other Ren songs with LotR references 😂 Seven Sins, Love Music 3, Down on the Beat, and his rap retake of Losing It. I might even have missed some? Ren is a geek and it’s brilliant 😂

It's great to hear a reactor who gets it. Many do, but so many don't particularly on this track. They don't even realize it's a capella, even though he says it in the song. But, there's even more layers to this one. Easter eggs I guess. Almost every bar has a reference in one way or another to a previous song, particularly Love Music pt 4,where the word Loco is the hook. The reactors who criticize don't get his double & triple entendres, his metaphors, illiterations, etc. Granted, they're complex but it takes a certain mind to catch them. You are good at it. 😀

Great reaction! Can't wait to check out more of your content. Concerning the lethal weapon series: I was absolutely against it. But my then girlfriend absolutely wanted to watch it, so I tagged along. And I have to say it is a really decent police /buddy cop series. If you don't focus too much on the fact that there are the movies and. give the series a chance, you will absolutely enjoy it. It is funny, a bit gritty, touches on alcoholism and depression in a great way (imo) and the actors do a bang up job. In the end I was disappointed it was discontinued, because it carved out its own place in my heart. It doesn't take anything away from the great movies, but uses the original and expands in a great way.
