This makes sense given how the MV is edited as well -- specifically the match cuts to the flashbacks matching on the girl herself. What confused me though was 1) how drastic the size difference is between her older self and current form & 2) why she's helping Tobi (the mc) out? ... a lot left to uncover 🤔🔍

@@Sutidamuskun Same, it was confusing as well. She was trying to eat Tobi before and now she's helping him. Maybe she just lost control on her old self with her dragon form that went on rampage. Perhaps she was fueled with anger during her execution, it kinda hints that the antagonists of this mv betrayed her or like killed her for just being seen as a threat.🤔 Also someone also theorized that the dragon flesh may just be too delish. Maybe that's why she got killed before and the reason why these villains were obsessed of her🤣

I've also read somewhere that the dragon was on a rampage when her head was cut, so she was just eating everything that was on her way, wasn't particularly targeting Tobi (--when I watched the How to eat life mv, At least that's what I was seeing) And that she was a reincarnation of the dragon. (I've seen a god in Noragami anime where when they are reincarnated they start as a child again. And the antagonists were trying to get her to maybe brainwash her to be on their side. Cuz it seems the past dragon girl (older one) wasn't agreeing with them and based on where she was sitting, felt like she's the head of the group or organization.) I wish she'd be in the manga soon 😭 I wanna know more about her and her relationship with Tobi, she seems so interesting. And there was a translation of the sketches that Mariyasu drew. And there was one where Tobi was telling her to call him "Onii-chan" but she kept calling him by his name instead with the probability that she might've thought he was her henchman 😂

The dragon girl actually shares her name (according to character sheets) and a couple of design features with the character Ryuuko from the Inochi no Tabekata light novel series Eve produced! I think the mv is supposed to be an extension of that story (years in the future), but it hasn't been said in the novels yet how she becomes/ what her relation is to the headless dragon. If you're interested in the light novels, they're being translated by the same people who are translating Kara no Kioku, though they're only two chapters into the first one as of now.

This is just my own theory but the lil' girl might be the missing head from headless dragon that goes rampage on previous sequel. She was a queen that reign that city before the red shaman betrayed and killed her. On her last struggle, her strong will to be alive turned the head into lil' girl but at the same time losing her power and memories as consequences and then by chances she was saved by Tobi, the one who killed and eat her body. At last, when she remembered who she was, the lil' queen uses the last remnant of her power and turn into dragon to save Tobi although it only last for a brief moment. I know man, I might be wrong, but too many inkling directing me to that conclusion.

I waited until I watched the MV myself to watch this and I gotta say I loved seeing you react to it haha! For chainsaw man fans coming into this vid they would’ve thought it was a cool MV but they definitely wouldn’t get as much out of it. It was definitely a huge treat for Eve fans! I’m honestly wondering what your school background is seeing how much you got into the directing/camera shots of this haha! Music videos like these inspired me to plan to major in visual communication in college. I hope to one day make videos like this! And you’re right haha I wish he would focus on releasing a few bangers a year like this rather than albums with more misses than hits.. He’s also been doing a lot more peaceful and different genre songs recently and I would love to see that go away in 2023 lol. I’m in it for the faster-paced hard hitting drop songs! I realize I’ve rambled too long now lmao but just wanted to thank you again for unknowingly getting me into Eve back in 2020 haha, it’s been awesome

MAKE THE NEXT FIGHT SONG! We'll call it...Armageddon Song (that sounds much less generic lol) Totally agree, wish he took 2022 off tbh and focused on just touring rather releasing Kaizin. Slew of rereleased songs, mid-singles, and then a couple of GEMS just buried beneath commercial projects. Hopefully he takes a break from albums for 2-3 years and comes back with some Smile/Bunka level GOATness :']

It is copyrighted, as is almost everything I make content on. That's one reason for cutting, but the other 2 reasons are that 1) I assume most viewers have already seen the original, so it's better to parts where nothing happens, and 2) if they've not seen it, I'd prefer they go see the original first so the actual content creator benefits.
