@@DieselWeasel In most cases, it's because of the massive over-industrialization caused by building their war machine. And in most of those cases, either they are more focused on what they will be taking. Not canon to Lord of the RIngs lore, obviously, but I do like how in Shadow of Mordor, they did not make all of Mordor a wasteland, as one large section was intentionally kept green and health specifically to be the farmland to feed Sauron's horde of orcs.

Your assumption at the end was essentially correct. Bison had more overpowered techniques but Shao Khan's stats were much higher. It mainly came down to how they interacted with souls, and while Bison would have a hard time taking over Khan's body, Khan's ability to consume and absorb souls means that he wins the soul-fight most of the time.

seeing this video up made my day and i clicked right away. it's also such a delight to see your reactions over the info of the characters like their age, height, weight and such. :) also, i can recommend watching the Mortal Kombat movie from 1995. :) the sequel; Mortal Kombat Annihilation, the live action scene where Shao-Khan transformed into a hydra, is not good at all. i can also recommend the Street Fighter movie. :) it stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia.

Mr. Bison in the Street Fighter movie (1994) was paly by Raul Julia who sadly pass away, but before he died he donated all of his money earn by making the move to charities. yes MK has a live action movie which was a hit in the 90's. Shao Khan was in the sequel "Mortal Kombat Annihilation". MK also has a youtube show called "Mortal Kombat Legacy". 2 seasons.

Oh sweet summer child you must be thankfull that you dont no what was Armageddon in the Mortal Kombat universe but if you want to know i should explain the best i can. After a lot of events hapen in the Mortal Kombat universe (the revival of the Dragon king Onaga, the merge of some of the realms and the awekening of the One Bieng) the elder gods were feed up with all this chaos sow they decide to settle this once and for all. Using there power they constructed a pyramid where the final battle were to be held and told every fighter that however manages to get to the top of this pyramid well obtain power equal to a Elder god but they must also defeat the guardian Blaze the elemental of fire to be worthy of It. As you could imagine It was every man for them selfs and every allince and rivaly up tell now were broken only to get a chance to get to the top of said pyramid (sow you could imagine how many fighters were killed in the process). Now you maybe asking yourself how did Shao Kang manage to not only get to the top but also killed all the other fighters and defeated Blaze to obtain that power well that part is quite hard to explain. During halfway true the fight on the pyramid Shao Kang was doing well until Onaga manages to capture him and leave the pyramid with him to is death now you may think that would have been the end for him but you well be wrong not only did he manage to escape and kill Onaga (witch at this moment of time was at is prime) but somehow he also got back to the pyramid, killed all of the other fighters, defeated Blaze and obtain the power to be a Elder god.
