Dave, you are definitely hitting that PXG higher, straighter and a lot longer than your previous. Great job Chris getting him lined out. Love the content, keep it coming brother. God Bless

Surely a lesson from you will get Dave on a better plane

Great to finally see Dave with the "new" driver. I've been swinging a club since the 1960s, so I have an observation to offer. It looks to me that Dave sets up closed to the target line, has the face aimed left of the target line, the ball "too" far back in his stance, and spins around his waist through impact. The key is to stop spinning around the waist. The fix I would try is ball further forward in stance to encourage a weight shift to the lead side and being more aware of the action of the trail shoulder to try to get the shoulder to go down more at and through the ball instead of that more horizontal rotation of his. Best wishes!

Agree. Fix some alignment issues. Also, should move to left side of tee box then aim to right side to widen the fairway.

Agreed, Trevino is a huge proponent of changing ball position instead of the natural swing. That would help him a ton.

So Dave was only hitting like 130 yds with his old driver ?

I’m using a tpt now, same model dif specs. I’ve not really gained many yards but consistency is incredible

Chris would it be worth Dave trying a Kirkland ball to get the spin up?

I would love to see Dave swing the left hand. His right hand smothers the left every driver swing except the final swing. Watch his finish where the right hand is facing the ground. This is what I would work on. Right hand dominance. Left hand is non existent.

Is that Dave or the golfing Doppler effect 😂

That wasn’t the ball flight and consistency Dave found in the fitting. The question is what has changed coach Chris? We know that the equipment can do it! I’m sure Dave will get there with a little help.

I think he should of spent all that money on golf lessons. Also that driver shaft is between £500-£600

The question is is the ball the same as used in the fitting it also makes a difference

Why wouldn't Dave move all the way to the left on the tee box to give him even more room for the ball to go left to allow him to aim a little bit more to the right middle of the fairway?

Because I’m not as bright as I think I am 😂

Looks like he has more control with this Driver over previous Driver.

Apart from the final drive, I must admit this was a bit of a letdown. I was expecting much more after the fitting. As someone told me once, a good club doesn’t fix a bad swing. Come on Chris, get working on Dave’s swing.

Good to see Dave swinging with confidence, once the alignment was sorted he was away. Looks like a gem of a driver.

Interesting. If I remember rightly, Dave's bad shot was a slice. My bad is a pull or snap hook. Will the right shaft really cure that?
@darrell31182 ай бұрын
A Teaching Pro to fix your snap hooks would be better money spent instead of spending +$400 on a shaft .
