You impressed me. You don't fear bunkers, which is great! Knowing I do not hit as many greens as "players" or pros, I have always been OK with landing in bunkers IF they are not ridiculously difficult, not crazy deep, sand is not too packed, etc. I started doing that as a youth, really going for greens. Now with age and experience, my short game is not too bad. Like it or not, I realized if you get in, you must get out. I do practice sand shots. My golf group I belong to could use bunker practice. Most guys thin it sending the ball flying across off the opposite side of a green or in another bunker. None of your bunker shots were thin. Excellent examples. Thanks James. Most people need a nudge with bunker training. I see people practicing regularly on the things they do WELL, but little on the shots they do not do well.

On my home course the sand gets VERY compacted to the point of maybe 1-2 cm of movable sand then almost concrete underneath. Very frustrating as it causes a LOT of thinned shots out even with a good strike area the ball just seems to jump up and over the target area.

I used to be really good at chipping, because I hated puts about 1 to 2 yards long. Unfortunately, when I don't get it close to the hole, I tend to miss smaller puts because of my fear of them.

Do you answer questions about your simulator? I have a question or two. I’m thinking about upgrading mine to something more realistic similar to yours. Does your floor improve the experience greatly? Is it worth all the extra cost? Just curious won’t get to personal on the questions lol

My club got rid of all their bunkers, too expensive and time consuming to look after, especially with all the kangaroo poop.

Hi James, I just noticed that you are quite square to your target. I was taught to open shoulders and open club face? Are there bunker shots that you ever use this old school technique?

The camera guy is more interested in showing were the ball is going than he is showing us the entire swing! I was hoping to see the more of the swing pattern. From takeaway to finish. I was especially interested in impact with the sand as I think that a lot of golfers aren't exactly sure how far behind the ball to hit or how to utilise bounce. But the camera man didn't want to let us see those things.
