Teachers who make their sexuality their whole personality are just weird, especially when they are encouraging this kind of behavior onto kids… Edit: I don’t really care if a teacher is gay, straight, etc. Let kids be kids, they will discover this on their own once they can make their own choices (like in high school). It’s like those kids who go on hormone blockers or transition into another gender, they will later regret their decision and impact them greatly (because they don’t know any better, they won’t think about the consequences), once they’re old enough, they can do whatever they want with their bodies as long as it’s safe. When people say these things, people will call them transphobic or homophobic but people are just trying to protect kids from damaging themselves. There are things that are happening in pride month about involving kids, saying things like ‘kids will love us’ or ‘kids will join us’ don’t you think that’s just…gross?

I’m queer and people like Fuzzy annoy me. I do agree that you should be open with your identity if you’re comfortable, and be happy with who you are. You should be allowed to go by whatever pronouns you feel best with, and as long as the person you love is consenting, sane, and legal, you can love them. I love that Fuzz open about their identity, I encourage being open. I think kids should know queer people exist, I wish I knew people like me existed when I was a kid. BUT when it’s all you post about, personally it rubs me off the wrong way. There’s more to yourself than what you identify. While some queer people go through that stage of making it their personality (I definitely did) you grow out of it.
