What I was saying that I would’ve been just as happy with $10 flowers that had thought behind them, thinking oh wow the mother of my child loves flowers, let me get her some! Instead he just grabbed me money out of his wallet and handed it over, It is the thought that counts, there was no thought, of course I am happy that I got money, but I would’ve been just as happy with something worth $10 as I was with $100, if that makes any sense.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with him not giving her anything. A painting from my babies is enough. Some men aren’t as expressive as others. My dad has never been the type to buy gifts for anyone really. My sisters or me would always tell him to buy her something for like their anniversary, they’ve been married for almost 25 years! As long as you know they love you and respect you, that should be enough. Presents are just a bonus. I’m sure he’ll buy her something another day, moms should be appreciated everyday not just on Mother’s Day.

Well my husband didn't remember about Mother day so the next day he was like its doesn't have to be only one day mother's you are her mother's every single day and I'm thankful to God so like a week later he brings me some beautiful flowers. 😍😍I was in tears. I love my husband so much.

My boyfriend did the same thing. He worked all day Sunday and told me we’d celebrate Monday since it’s his day off, but he got called in Monday too. The time he spent at home he just played video games and was on his phone.
