7:14 I’ll explain that last one. The ladies are at a Chi (whichever spelling you like) training camp, that they’ve paid for. They were supposed to harness their energy to create a protective barrier, and the instructor was testing their skills at full speed, like a runaway snowplow. The ladies’ shield was insufficient to stop his momentum in this moment. They trained up a bit, came back, and he hit an invisible wall trying to charge her again. That last part may just be what I was hoping to see, though.

The reporters one reminds me of a similar feeling I've had: I worked at a company that had just acquired a different company and I took on some of their business-to-business customers' credit accounts. "That's not how [other company] did it" would lead me to reply "and they went bankrupt and we bought them." Not really my style, but in the moment it felt gangsta. And they would stick closer to the terms we offered them, so I guess it worked.

The Indiana Jones clip was actually an improvised scene Harrison Ford did without the knowledge of the Director, from what I heard. The script said he was supposed to use his whip and do like a stand off melee routine with him doing whip tricks while the warrior does sword tricks but Harrison apparently had food poisoning on the day of shooting IIRC and decided to screw the scene up by firing off a blank from his prop gun instead, everybody played along with it and the Director was so impressed with the comedic value of the improv scene they decided to keep it for the film edit instead of reshooting it the way it was scripted.
