I love your work Daniel and Ashley. Thank you both. Sadly your beautiful work has highlighted for me how many are so out of touch with language and linguistics. I am Tainui Te Arawa and Nga Puhi, Scot, English, German Jew and Croatian and always I read comments from Maori who are surprised and delighted, deservedly so, with your pronunciation --- this is aggravating to me because if they only knew that most languages use the same vowel sounds as in Te Reo that is.... a e i o u in Te Reo is the same in most languages except English. I see you two as the bridge between the yawning gap between those that know this simple truth and those that dont. Kia ora. Keep doing what you do for you raise us all up with your work. Well done.
