Psalm 104 is the most viewed traditional Jewish chant (played live) on KZbin.
It is from the Book of Psalms of the Bible and is understood to be a hymn of creation, in all the fulness wherein God has created it - it speaks of animals, plants, waters, skies, etc.
This rare Psalm was first recorded in 2011 for Yamma's first album.
The live video was recorded a year after in 2012.
𝑻͇𝒉͇𝒆͇ 𝒂͇𝒓͇𝒓͇𝒂͇𝒏͇𝒈͇𝒆͇𝒎͇𝒆͇𝒏͇𝒕͇ 𝒂͇𝒏͇𝒅͇ 𝒄͇𝒓͇𝒆͇𝒂͇𝒕͇𝒊͇𝒐͇𝒏͇ 𝒑͇𝒓͇𝒐͇𝒄͇𝒆͇𝒔͇𝒔͇
Yonnie Dror, who plays the wind instruments in Yamma found this magical chant in an old book of Jewish chants.The Jerusalem Babylonian version, in which frequent changes occur in rhythm, caught his ear, intrigued him to explore and learn deeply this unique ancient psalm which originated in the Jewish community of Iraq. (Yonnie's father immigrated to Jerusalem from Iraq during the 50s).
Yonnie wrote a full arrangement for the five-member ensemble. The group has recorded the psalm and set it free from the old book to the global online net. The hymn became a KZbin hit, just before falling into oblivion.
The beautiful performance received high attention and a warm embrace. millions of views and thousands of exciting comments from countless listeners and numerous music lovers from all religions and cultures.
𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎 104
The melody of this song is traditional by the community of Babylonian Jews.
it was passed down from generation to generation through the history of prayers in the synagogues. The frequent changes in rhythm and other signs proves the composition is based on the oral praying text of prayers in synagogues. The core of this music was the text, reading the Psalm.
In this link a Jewish Iraqi cantor who sings this prayer in the original way without music - • Psalm 104, Iraq & Sfar...
The arrangement of the ensemble tries to give the same historical and ancient feeling
(using ancient instruments) and at the same time bring a touch of our contemporary times
We love you all ❤️ Thanks for listening

The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing b on the earth. 25The Lord Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.” Isaiah 19

@frankpetrucci5515
@frankpetrucci5515 4 жыл бұрын
@christopher snedeker it's about different frequencies of sound that activate the corresponding chakras or energy centers relevant to the divine. Your "Third Eye" Chakra and "Crown Chakra"/Halo are related to the divine and certain sounds activate them so that you don't have to understand the language. Pop music activates the chakra associated with sexual activity - that's why you can tell a romance song even if it's in another language.
@frankpetrucci5515
@frankpetrucci5515 4 жыл бұрын
@christopher snedeker if you listen to this, Gregorian Chant, and other forms of sacred music, they all have a tendency to resonate the same areas of your body. Look into BINAURAL BEATS to truly understand the POWER of SOUND..."Faith comes by HEARING" is not just an expression, it's a physical law.

This is beautiful. I love hearing the psalms coming to life. I’m a 30 year old male. I was sexually abused for years in childhood. I have struggled with my gender identity and sexuality since very young and frequently had thoughts of suicide because I hated myself and thought there was no hope. But Jesus saw my struggles, the sins others committed against me, and the sin in my own heart and He had compassion and wanted better for me. I can’t say that my struggles with sexuality completely went away, but over the years of reading the Bible and learning who God was and who he says I am instead of what society says, my struggles with sin have lessened and I’ve found hope and new life and know that he will always be with me. Whatever sins and mistakes you’ve made in life in your life (which we are all sinful and imperfect) He is greater and will save you and walk alongside you.

I wouldn't go that far. I mean this is more reminiscent to what the original psalms would probably sound like, but the Pentecostals and Southern Baptist have Bluegrass and Southern Gospel. Slightly different feel, but the same spirit. Simple people with a rich culture who just want to praise the Lord. I love them all. Any music that praises the name of Yeshua or Yahweh is worth at least a first listen.

Whicj is why Yeshua is not G-d no human can be G-d nor should be worship as such. @Vive la Revolution Are you sure? Indeed I studied Islamic sciences and I was a very devout young Muslim. And through my study, I concluded that Islam is the worst religion ever to exist on earth, and it is impossible to be from God, because of the contradiction within the Quran and the hadith and the contradictions to the bible (especially when the Quran says, it affirms the bible and believes in it) and because of its views and laws regarding non-Muslims and regarding women's rights. Islam says all people on earth should be Muslims or get killed if they refuse to. If they are Christians or Jews they have another choice: they can pay the jiziya (tax) and live under an extremly violent and strict rules of Islam regarding the Christians and the Jews. And If they do not pay the tax and live under Islamic authority they are killed and their possessions are distributed among the mujahedeen and their children and daughter or wives are distributed too, and can be sold or have sex with forcefully (rape); Basically a sex slave. Most Islamic laws and rules don't come from the Quran but from the hadiths that are the sayings and actions of Mohammed. Why is that important? Because many non-Muslims who know that Islam is violent and anti-women when they read the Quran, they don't find it that violent. And then they think that they were wrong about Islam. They don't read hadiths which are by tenth of thousands in number. In fact the hadiths which are the second source of Islam are significantly more violent, anti-women and anti-non-Muslims than the Quran. Islam does not consist only of the Quran but equally of the the hadiths. Let me mention only some of Its views and laws about women from the quran and the hadith. If anybody needs any hadith or ayah (verse) about what I say, let him/her tell me I will give it to him/her. Women lack mental ability. women lack religion. If you are praying then a black dog, a donkey or an adult woman walks infront of you, then your prayer is abolished. Then you have to pray all over, from the beginning. women should not go outside their homes except if they have to to do something important, and if they do they should ask for permission from their guardians. This guardian is her father, or her husband if she's married. if her husband died then her brothers or even her teenage son. And even if she gets this permission she cannot go outside except with a mahram ( a very close male relative that she cannot religiously marry because of relatedness) 4 wives and limitless sex slave is permissible in Islam and for the prophet of Islam even 12 wives is ok. Do not think that this 4 wives and sex slaves will be over once the she is in heaven or paradise. they will be with her alongside 72 virgins that are given to the men, in fact this is what exactly our imam told us in the mosque, I have to go to the mosque because I converted to Christianity secretly, If my family know that I converted, they will kill me or at least disown me. law of Guardianship. Women are seen as children. They cannot take care of themselve and be responsible for themselves. they should not do many things by themselves. for example. They cannot go to school or travel abroad. Girl's education for example reading and writing let alone the infidel's modren science is discouraged by the salaf, which were the forefathers of Islam after a few decades of Islam's inception. The salafi school are exactly what Zakir naik's teaching are. Female circumcision is a good thing according to the hadiths, the prophet says it makes sex more pleasurable for men. But today doctors and scientific and health advisors and medical association labels female (khitan) circumcision as a crime because it destroys her pleasure of sex. Most of the inhabitant of the hell are women. because they did not obey their husband. women can't divorce their husband, if her husband wants to keep her. women unlike men cannot work outside to earn money and If they can they should get their guardian's permission. women even if they worked hard to earn their money they receive half of their brother's share of inheritance. The husband doesn't have to cover the medical expense of his wife. The problem here is that woman's working is not encouraged in Islam and she cannot work outside if her husband does not permit her. Most Muslim women don't work to cover their medical expenses themselves. you neither cover her medical expenses nor let her work and cover it. Women and men cannot look at each other, it is a sin, even if the look is not lustful. I wonder how the soceity can live normally with this great restriction. Men can wear anything they want unless the clothes they wear covers their body from belly botton to their knees, apart from that they are free what to wear. But women should cover all their body head to toe. note; some say apart from their hand and face. and cannot adorn themselves, even with a lipstick. young girls as young as one day old can be married off (I know you are shocked, that is because you have not heard this) and whenever they are perceived as capable of withstanding penetration of penis by thier guardianship, the husband can have sex with her. and If she refuses to let him then the husband can beat her. And the angels will curse her if she refuses to surrender. Women can be beaten If they disobey their husband and the prophet said, don't tell men why they beat their wives. Women cannot give charity unless her husband permits her. Women cannot fast a voluntary fast unless her husband gives her permission. Non-Muslim girls even 8 years old and women captives can be literally sex slaves, bought and sold and have intercourse with willingly or unwillingly. I did not mention many mistakes of Islam regarding women let alone the other moral mistakes that does not relate to women, the scientific, and the historical mistakes. brother and sister embrace Jesus as your savior. He loves you. And surly grants you more right that Mohammed does. He gives you eternal life.

@Love Faith interesting message, but in my opinion not everything you said is true from my perspective, we do believe in jesus ( Isa in arabic) (peace be upon him) we have a lot of respect he is one of the best creature of god and his mother is one of or the greatest woman in our history, she even has a surah about her in the quran. You said we think he is a liar cause we dont believe in this sentence "I am the way and the truth, no one comes to Father but through me" but it is only your opinion because in our religion jesus never said that. We believe in Isa he is one of the greatest man but in our religion he isn't the son of god or god himself, he is a prophet and messenger. About angel gabriel we dont think he lied because in the quran it is said that gabriel came to mary to tell her that she will have a child. And about what u said about prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) he was troubled because he was very shocked that he received a visible proof of god existence for the first time. Imagine yourself, alone in the night, travelling through a valley, and a great angel come to you directly, you wouldn't be surprised troubled shocked. Our prophet is human being too. You should take a little look in the quran, you'll see that mary and her son jesus have a great place in it. Anyway your comment was very interesting, than you for taking time to write it

@Love Faith Surah maryam verse 16 " And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east.And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man.She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah ."He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy."She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?"He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.' "

Let's think a little and try, to apply some logic here; The trial of the millennium convicts this mythical character known as jesus, May that name be obliterated.! The most "charismatic and popular" figure in history is "executed" (according to you illiterate Ignorants) The Mamzer's death -supposedly, as it is written in the xtian toilet paper- prompts a 3 hour global darkness, earthquakes, and the resurrection of death and saints that climb from their graves to walk on the streets of Jerusalem. Three days after, ( according to xtian mathematics from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning 3 days...) the mythical creature supposedly emerges from the tomb, appears in public, and makes a dramatic ascension into the sky and ultimately into heaven.... Yet not a single one of first century's historians mentioned any of this events. And the so called "gospels" (the xtian used toilet paper) posting them, were written by anonymous or unknown sources several decades after his time frame, (approximately 120 years after.) Is it credible that this character was born of a virgin, rose prominence, converted thousands, performed supernatural healings, including the raising of the death, was publicly tried and crucified, miraculously regenerated, reappeared, and levitated from this earth in "an ascend" visible for hundreds of miles.... and NOBODY noticed..? Now in real life, There is an absolute silence about this mythical character among the Jewish and roman historians of the first century of this era vulgarii, Aulo Pérsio Flaco - 34 d.c. - 62 d.c - Dion Chrysostomos 40 - 120 d.c. - Justus of Tiberias - 80 d.c - Titus Livius (Livy) 59 a.c - 17 d.c - Marco Aneu Lucano (Lucanus) 39 d.c. - 65 d.c. - Publius Aneu Floro I to II century - Titus Petronius 27d.c.-66 d.c. - Phaedrus (Phaedrus) 30/15 d.c. - 44/50 d.c - Philo of Alexandria (Philo Judaeus) 20 a.c. - 50 d.c - Caio Plínio Segundo 23 d.c. - 79 d.c. - Plutarch (Plutarch) 46 d.c. - 126 d.c - Pompônio Mela, 1st century - Quinto Cúrcio Rufo, First half of the first century - Marcus Fabius Quintilianus 35 d.c. - 95d.c.- Lúcio Aneu Séneca 4 a.c - 65 d.c. - Sílio Italic 25 d.c. - 101 d.c. - Marco Estácio Prisco, 1st century - Not a single EDUCATED person of "his" time mentioned him anywhere, no one wrote about him, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM!! and the only sources that do, are the "gospels" and those contradictory fairy tales have no historic relevance whatsoever.!! If you heard the story of another man-god in this context, how quickly would you believe or disbelieve it..? All the elements that figure in the bastard's life; -virginal birth, atoning death, resurrection, ascension into heaven- are presented in every mythic tales about another men-gods and heroes in the ancient world; Mithras, Osiris, Attis, Serapis, Apollo, Dionysus, Adonis, Buddha, Tammuz, Horus, Krishna… this character is based on all of those myths and legends of old, that xtian apologists turned into "history" and then into "holly scriptures" by attributing the two cents wizard's disciples their authorships... This is how the true xtian confabulation began.... Perfectly conceived to catch ignorants... Like you!

I just happened to find this from a bible study talking about different instruments played in King David's Israelite band. I had no idea how beautiful this jam session of worship in ancient Hebrew was going to be. This has put my spirit at ease and inspiration because my soul is troubled and I have battled with many demonic forces for several years now and I am never afraid and my true peace love and harmony always prevails against the daily attacks from evil..this had truly blessed me. I need to be encouraged and prayed over bc I am lost but once was found im searching for a way back home to my Father's house.. Yeshuwa...Almighty God..Rescue me from my times of trouble Oh Lord. Hear my cry.

I was having an anxiety attack, one of the worst ones I've had in months, and somehow upon trying to find something on KZbin in an attempt to distract myself, and calm down, I ended up here. I'm not jewish, and I don't speak any hebrew, but this calmed my nerves almost instantly, I feel a lot better after listening to this. I'm definently gonna add it to one of my playlists, and check out some of your guys other music!
