Andy is back from his respite care, but he doesn't seem himself and he stayed away from the camera for most of the day, and didn't make a video for his channel in Boston. Later in the day he had more laptop problems which didn't quite lead to the full on meltdown he had last week when he threw the table across the room, but he did end up hitting Anna trying to get the computer back off her.
In other news, I got my haircut, tried another American cereal and bought an ironing board. I fully admit this was a weird vlog...

ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 14), Amy (age 12) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

Laptops with windows tend to update without asking or warning

I would think that you could make a non-administrative account on the laptop where Andy couldn't change settings, but I could be wrong.

You can also do that on PC you can set a day and time that works best for you but if you put it off too many times it will just update itself

I use windows 10 and it always asks me to update and I just click remind me later until I finish using it then I shut it down with updates on.

+The Chapman Family Has Andy had a recent change in his medications lately? Maybe, his aggressive behaviour could be caused by a change in his medication. Maybe it’s linked to puberty? I mean he’s still undergoing puberty so that linked with his autism and anxiety could be the reason why he’s becoming aggressive when you take his laptop away. Hopefully it can be resolved soon. Must’ve been horrible for Anna to be hit by her own son 😢.

Shame about Andy, hope he feels better today and that Anna wasn't badly hurt from the tussle. Maybe you could try a Chromebook for him? They're quite cheap and have all the Google apps,but don't run Windows. All computers need to update,maybe you could say to Andy that the computer screen is having a quick nap as it can get tired and it will feel better soon. Not sure if this would work, but just a suggestion.👍

I think suspenders are the American word for braces. He is referring to an item of clothing which goes on your trousers and goes over tour shirt and hooks onto the back of the trousers so it looks smart and keeps the trousers up

ADHD is completely different then ASD. You can have ASD and ADHD but ADHD but having does not give you any idea what having ASD feels like.
