Story 1: I’m sorry, but this is a her problem. She said he’s been like that since the beginning, she shouldn’t have got in a relationship with him in the beginning if he wasn’t passionate enough for her. You can’t change a person & shouldn’t want to if you love them. I think he can make little changes, but she seems like she needs it often.

I think the first girl might be playing out what she described as her “unhealthy attachment patterns” in her vantage of her partner. She’s looking for someone more anxiously attached. She also says she knew who he was from the start! I hope they can resolve it because it sounds like they’re good healing people and he loves her!! Love the pod!

My advice to Brian on the prenup situation - I would frame the prenup in a way that says “this would protect both of us as individuals” this would “protect anything you may inherit from your family” frame it in a way where she feels she would benefit also and she may agree. But I really don’t think a prenup is a terrible idea - it doesn’t mean you love or value the person less it just means your being sensible and looking after yourself because truthfully no one knows what can happen down the line . I would recommend it as a I learnt that apparently in a divorce situation the other party can apparently go after your pension from your job so it’s sensible🤷🏻‍♀️

To the girl who keeps finding her bf’s past relationship momentos. It will only get worse. I dated somebody for 4 years who proudly had a jar on his desk of ‘bj tokens’ a past partner had given him. I spent the rest of the relationship finding stuff, him constantly berating me to get my nails done like her, to dye my hair her hair colour, to be her dress size etc. It took me so long to realise he treated me like rubbish, please learn from my mistake💗

I’m a big believer in prenups, but I’ve been married almost 20 years. I think it doesn’t need to be an issue, if she doesn’t want to sign one & he knows she wants to get married- he needs to let her go….let her go marry someone else. This is not something to compromise on imo.

I think people forget that they don’t know how life can go and sometimes it’s best to look after your future self and do the prenup just to be safe - but I agree it’s not something to compromise on. Also there’s been cases where the wife/ husband can be entitled to half of your work pension from your job so it’s really best to lay it all out in some kind of agreement 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter threw out a bunch of school memories, including stuff from old boyfriends. She did not tell me, but I went and plucked it out of the trash and hid it in my closet. As soon as she got married, to another young man…it all went back into the bin. You never know, sometimes things boomerang back. He needs his mom to hang onto it until he picks his forever person.

I think for the prenup, he’s in the right. He worked hard for his stuff and doesn’t want it taken away from him after doing something he doesn’t even want to do (get legally married). If she is so against the prenup then I think she probably wants some of that wealth if they split. A prenup truly isn’t that big of a deal if you don’t have any kind of agenda to be evil during the split.
