I'm tearing up once again after Korosensei said "But if I could have one wish... I'd like to see them one last time." and the end credits scene rolling afterwards. As an aspiring future educator, this gut-wrenchingly breaks my heart once again even if this is just my 3rd re-watch of Assassination Classroom, knowing how everything else will unfold until the end.

Lots of Red Flags in the episode indicating that they will say Goodbye very soon. Karasuma in his opinion wantss the assassination to be carried out by the students but because he is a loyal government dog, his hands are tied. The kids against trained soldiers in a head on fight would be futile. As the soldiers are well trained adults. The best they can do is to perform ambushes and guerilla warfare until they can get inside the barrier. As for the Group Chat, Luke forgot that they have Ritsu doing Cyber Warfare, allowing clear communication between the students while blocking and deceiving any government monitoring as well as hacking into the government servers to figure out what they are doing and how they are doing it.

The planning stage and the buildup to the endgame was far, far better in the manga both in terms of believability and narrative. This is basically the only part of the anime adaptation that rubbed me the wrong way. They dropped an entire plot thread for their break-in scheme, and even left out a proper conclusion to Itona and Karma's arcs and character development. Even cut a small interaction with Nagisa and his mother that showcased her gradual change as a person, too. Only thing that keeps this show from being a perfect 10 like the manga was.
