It must be hard as a fighter to take money off your opponent especially in a situation like this where there is the potential of them misunderstanding a rule set. I cant see Lara intentionally did this, but he may well have done similar on other UK fights and there wasnt a problem. Obviously if its 2 British fighters for example who are more than familiar with the board and one comes in way over weight, then absolutely I am all for that fighter taking a hit as the other fighter is at more risk. But if its a mistake and you then have to decide on how much you want from them, that must be difficult because you're both taking a risk in there and they still have to pay all of the fees that come with it. I know some bodies have an amount per lb over the championship weight. I've heard lots of chatter that this was intentional to screw Lara.
