So, for maps used in leagues that most of all players play on in competitive tf2 are two leagues, UGC, and RGL, RGL being the more favored and popular one currently, and they run maps that are tested by an experimental league which is used to test either maps, or weapons to be possibly brought to the main league, and for reference, there are about 5 styles of competitive branches, you have ultiduo, which is 2v2 style, which typically is meta by a soldier and medic on each side, then 4s, which is 4v4 which I'm not as knowledgeable in the meta in, then the most popular is 6s, which is a 6v6 format, which typically runs control point CP maps, and some KOTH King of the hill maps, and meta tends to be 2 scouts, 2 soldiers, 1 demo, 1 med, and one of the scouts known as the flank scout can off class as say sniper, or if they're pushed to the last point switch to heavy. Basically making them usually changing class if the situation deems it. (I started playing 6s recently and have been really enjoying it since I love the team/brotherly atmosphere), then prolander, which is a 7v7 format, which plays on the same maps as 6s, but also can include payload I'm pretty sure, and tends to be similar to 6s, but the 7th player just dedicates to playing off class instead of having the flank scout switch to an off class like on 6s. Then you have highlander, which is a 9v9 format, and the second most popular, where there is a 1 class pick limit, so its 9v9 with each class being played, and tends to play a bit slower but is still fun (I played highlander for UGC for a season so I have some experience there too). Hopefully, that kind of, covers any base knowledge you should know about the TF2 competitive scene. Now I'm not some top-level, high-rank player I'm still new to the scene despite playing the game since 2009 and knowing about it since then, I just am someone who is very passionate about the game and likes to think I get better every day now throwing myself into the scene. Recently discovered your channel and I'm loving it, always in the mindset of having new players have the best most fun and also honest experience to the game

For Fatmagic I highly recommend watching his "Annoying scout" or "Sneaky gun spy" video to get a basic feel of him, and for Vorobey I suggest his pistol engie video though do keep in mind that Voro is more on the competitive side.

8:04 Yeah Gabe Newell, the founder of Valve. And the company who made TF2 announced that there *are* updates for TF2. I'm not sure if it's true, because there are people saying "no, it's like when he promised half life 3..." and there are also others saying "It's Gabe Newell! The owner of Valve announced it himself! New update baby!!!". There are different thoughts about Gabe's statement. I'm just hoping the bots would be gone from TF2, that's what I'm hoping when he said in the interview that they were aware of the bot problem and they think they have a good solution for it.

The melee for scout was the boston basher, its just reskined into a sword. It was a promotional item for scout that isnt obtainable by random drops, only by getting the original product or trade.

The reason why B4nny does so many flick shots is because its the best way to hit enemy reliably If mastered. You wont See many people going for flick shots (accept of the Players playing scout or Demo) is because its quite hard to pull Off. it's done by keeping the crosshair relativly close to the target and u kinda throw ur Cursor at the target and shoot.

I use opera GX, definitely recommend it. Not just for gaming but for general multi-tasking as well, as it has a feature that's kind of "tab groups" and the ability to label them. Built in VPN and ad-block as well, though it's better to get an adblock extension as it doesn't always work

10:31, I am not too familiar with 5cp custom maps. Played it once, and only once. I don't recall its name. Oh, and concidering the team sizes are 6 vs 6, as well as the class selections, I would say it would be a competetive match. The map might end up officialy in the game one day, who knows.
