give Demoman the Crit-a-Cola, now he can spam crit pipes on command and one shot light classes. The Pistol would honestly be pretty decent on Demo too, but the Crit-a-Cola in particular would be super good.

I think you really overlooked the Dalokohs Bar. A 100 HP heal and 50 extra maximum HP would be really powerful on classes such as Scout and Soldier, who could massively benefit from that health increase.

Medic with a different secondary would simply be a better battle engi He is faster, can regen passively (and has items that can passively regen) and would have either offensive or supportive options 1-battle medic: built purely for offense: solemn vow- stock shotgun- blutsuager Blutsauger is good up close for finishing enemies while closing in, and the shotgun is good to finish off enemies farther away 2- support medic: crossbow- jarate- solemn vow This would play similarly to the current medic playstyle of sticking close to your teammates or pockets, healing with crossbow and providing a damage buff with jarate, solemn vow for picking targets and making decisions 3- Skinny heavy: tide turner(or any shield, really)- blutsauger- solemn vow While the shield charge wouldnt be useful for other classes other than pyro and heavy, it would simply be busted on a medic who knows how to use a syringe gun. Those things have a quite high dps, it would be deadly if you manage to shield bash someone and get a mini/crit syringe off on someone and run away with very decent speed and health regen, combined with the shield being able to remove debuffs when used. Amputator is a curious case, it should be better because it is the 2nd way the medic can heal others (we dont count lunchboxes) but i still dont see a point in using it unless you are planning to exclusively sit in the backlines, but the health regen is nice i guess?

Direct hit + mad milk could give you an even better version of the black box Air strike with the jetpack could increase the amount of rockets he uses for bombing, then jetpacking out allowing for an even better damage potential with this same idea applying with the sticky jumper Pyro with the sticky jumper could really lay out some extra flanks compared to the detonator or jetpack, acting as a best of both worlds Quckiebomb launcher for scout would be really good as it can pair better with his style Heavy with the sticky jumper could give him extra mobility, while he uses the fists of steel during the flight to negate some of the damage, and maybe revving mid air with the brass beast to drop down like a shock trooper then get out soon after Also having a frontier justice battle engi with the mad milk could be devastating, or a widowmaker jarate one. Huntsman sniper with the family business for quick bursts of damage, or mad milk instead for sustain Sniper with the short circuit would also allow him to get rid of a major weakness Sniper using the buff banner could charge it up then go in with the bushwacka Spy could also use the darwin's danger shield to fuck over pyros Stickies would still be a good choice for being able to set up a sticky nest with the scottish resistence & detonate them while only uncloaking for a brief moment.

Banners on sniper doesn’t make sense, but the sticky jumper on him specifically would be insane. Imagine being sniped from ridiculous new spots and never being able to catch him because he always has 2 at his feet
@paperclipps5516 сағат бұрын
I would actualy chose Heavy's secondaries for Sniper. You still get access to shotguns but you cant expect a sniper to always be working with their team, so the sandvich and other lunchbox items over the banners would suit a more solitary playstyle, even if they lack any passive plus sides
@DoctorSpacebar2 сағат бұрын
Medic might like the Heavy's secondaries. You get a support option with the Sandvich or a damage option with the Shotgun!

One small problem with heavy having the detonator: heavy has a 40% reduction if i remember correctly so it wouldnt work as well ( it might've been only when revved up, i don't really remember)

Mad Milk or Jarate might be good on Spy. He could throw out a Mad Milk or Jarate and then just hide and do it again whenever it recharges. I think It would be a nice support secondary to replace the sapper that could work well with his ability to cloak.

Forget about the amputator on medic? I think family business with amputator and crusader has genuine viability on cart modes using the cart to push you while using aoe healing with amputator
@blu3m0nkey4 сағат бұрын
Spy with the crocodile back (or whatever its called) Edit, medic can use amputator, as all other meles are now USELESS He can heal 25 per 1.5 secs every time he taunts, and mad milk still keeps up healing He can also use pocket pistol as battle medic, considering you dont heal people anyway

Man, the Stickies are so good, huh? I thought Crit-a-Cola, Buffalo Steak Sandvich, or something would help a lot. So, what would be the Stickies for the Melee slot? Heavy's melee? Cause they're balanced on Heavy's slow movement speed, so seeing that on any class faster than him breaks them a lot, as the wise Great Blue said. Overall, great examination there.

Ngl i think engis secondaries would be good for scout besides the wrangler because scout can just ignore blast damage with the short circuit and the pistol is honestly really strong, ive quick dropped a few soldiers and demos using the pistol before
@GregenOfficial3 сағат бұрын
Wow yeah, the Short Circuit would work super well on him. Don't think it beats out Mediguns or a second shotgun but still a valid point
@potatoweaver4116Сағат бұрын
you know Scout already as a pistol right? Short Circuit seems kind of unnecessary on Scout since he's already so good at dodging blast damage.

Technically speaking, Spy's secondaries are actually his revolvers. You already went over them in the Primary Swap video, so I suppose it is moot. However, hear me out: Under the (correct) assertion that Spy's secondaries are the Revolvers, then the best in slot would be Heavy. All of his Shotguns are pretty sweet (and also not dependant on class specific quirks like other shotguns), and Spy can also use Sandwiches. He'd especially benefit from the Dalokohs Bar. Alternatively, I can see Spy with Mediguns. Sure, he's even more fragile than a Medic is, AND his only way to build Uber would be healing via Medigun. But Spy is also more slippery than a Medic. That discrepency aside, here's who I actually think deserves what: I agree with Scout. (Tho I think Pyro secondaries are better than Soldier secondaries. Scout can get charge fast, but he can't keep it. He is also too fast and too squishy to work within a bunched up group.) I agree with Soldier. (Though I think Heavy secondaries WOULD be better) I disagree with Pyro. (Although this isn't because I think Pyro can't use stickies. If anything, I think Shields and Stickies would massively benefit Pyro's gameplay. Although I think it'd be more interesting if Pyro had Medic's Mediguns instead. More health, afterburn immunity, his flamethrows heal him when he puts out fires, his flamethowers are direct upgrades from Syringes.) I agree with Demoman. (No notes.) I disagree with Heavy here. (Honestly I think the BEST is actually Soldier because the banners. Heavy has the highest DPS and the highest HP out of everyone. Unlike Scout or Spy, Heavy can actually gain charge and live long enough to keep it. Besides, you are HARD PASSING ON MINIGUNS WITH MINICRITS. It's the very synonym of a meat grinder.) Hard agree on Engineer. (Demo Secondaries are just the best.) I don't agree with Medic entirely. (Pyro is actually a solid choice, but Sniper? Not a chance. Once again, I would select Heavy Secondaries. Heavy has the best catalogue of Shotguns, and his Lunchboxes are also very nice.) Don't agree with Sniper. (Once again, I invoke upon Heavy Secondaries. Either Sniper can opt to use shotguns, or he can eat sandwiches.) Those are just what I think, though! The topic is pretty cool, can't wait to see melee weapons.

Back up, how are Revolvers Spy's secondary??? In the loadout menu it's the first weapon, on the keyboard hitting 1 pulls out the Revolver, and on the scroll wheel it also follows the same principle as all the other classes. Also, I hear you on the Minigun mini-crits and I feel foolish for not considering it. But for Medic and the lunchbox items, those were consider and they would be way slower than a Crusader's Crossbow so they would be pointless.
@burgscratch63017 сағат бұрын
@@GregenOfficial First off; I know right??? IT'S A GUN. But according to the official wiki, revolvers are a secondary weapon. I mean I sorta get it, Spy only has two weapons, and Spy has two PDAs, (Yeah you hear me, Invis Watch AND Sappers are both PDAs. The Official Wiki states that) but why it isn't [Primary-Melee-PDA-PDA] is beyond me. On the note with Medic; yeah that's pretty fair. Crossbow heals for big chunks of health. Plus, without the Mediguns, the only viable Melees are the Solemn Vow and the Amputator. My reason for picking the Heavy over Sniper is for the general flexibility those options provide. If you want to be balanced, you can go Amputator-Family Buisiness-Amputator. If you want to go Battle Medic, a nice loadout can be Blutsager-Lunchbox-Solemn-Vow. If you want to be a dedicated healbot, Crossbow-Sandvich-Amputator. Because of the fact that Medic can regenerate, they're able to top off their HP more consistently, so Health Packs can reliably refill the Lunchbox meters. So out of all 9 Classes, Medic has the most innate synergy with Heavy's secondaries. That's also not including the fact half of the Lunchboxes recharge for a fat 30 seconds, and the other half recharge for a thin 10 seconds. They wouldn't just be good for healing teammates, they'd also be great for keeping yourself alive. Though that being said, I do understand the power of debuffing via Jarate. The benefits are really nice for a 20 second cooldown (though considering the minicrits last for 10 seconds, that's basically a 10 second cooldown). Heck, I think the Cleaners could pop off with the Syringes, I know they pop off when backpedalling.
