MY wife and I moved from a 2 br apartment to a 4 br 3 full bath brand new home in 2001 and had to rent it out due to job loss in 2003 and I felt like a failure and my wife responded with excitement. I was floored I asked your not upset we just got the home and we are moving back into an apartment ? Her response was I like the weather there better. It motivated me more than anything to get her back into a home as I felt she deserved the world afterwards. We have been married for 30 years come Jan 2023 and another woman would ever be able to catch my eye as she has me as long as she will have me.

Men are really into their stuff but when a woman loves her MAN, not their LIFESTYLE, how much they have doesn't matter as long as their needs are met. Even if things are tight, when there is love and respect between a man and his wife, a good woman will stand the test of time. Furthermore, a 2br apartment is MUCH easier to clean than a big ole' 4br house! Glad for y'all. Hope you make it till death do you part. 💕

He succumbed to cancer 3 months after their 60th anniversary. They were so in love. He would grab her booty in front of us as soon as he came in the house and call her his "Brown Sugar." Kellie, we are truly blessed to have witnessed, what we really didnt understand as children, what black love truly looks like. My granddaddy let us grandkids know that we better not raise a hair on my grandmother's head or we would have him to deal with.☺️ We would be over there after school or on teacher's workdays. When he came back home... they ran into each other at the store. He took his mom and auntie, and my mom's little sister kept bugging her to take her to the store that day. Revelation, wow. Intentionally dying to self, and releasing my wants... to have my hands free to bandage, massage, apply healing balm to HIS wounded places. In service to God. Not using your two hands to try to mold a man into the image you want, or who you told yourself he was when you met. But in true servitude and obedience to the Father. Who called you to do so in the 1st place. That requires an actual relationship with the Father, a willingness to serve, and a intimate knowledge of the Father's voice and Word. Wow. And while I knew that in a way, something about how it was presented hit different. Charis and Shalom ❤️

I loved when he actually offered a tissue because it brought him to tears as he recounted the story of her unbuttoning her pink blouse and her saying, she thought it would happen different than this! And how he stopped his fleshly gratification until the time was comfortable for him and his Bride. He tearedd up like it happened yesterday! But if it had, it might of caused a rift in their Union today if she felt defiled in any way. The most powerful moment coming from her when she stayed the course through bankruptcy was when she said, "Help me to see!" Wow!!! It takes two people loving Him because He never promised a life of comfort or convenience. And recognizing the gift of the other as a gift from God so that u not only choose each other but prefer one another because you can lose it at any time, even by death, let alone divorce or separation.

Great content. The wonderful thing I find with this podcast is that God will speak to the heart and reveal a word within a word. The guests maybe saying A, yet the word is discerning so I receive B, C, and/or D. I find myself shedding tears of healing, pressing pause and then immediately returning for more. Thank you LRW, your amazing ❤❤❤!

I loved this episode. Wisdom! Gems! When they said you have to make each other a priority, that's powerful. Do you know the level of security (speaking as a woman) you feel when you know you are a man's priority?! POWERFUL! I'd also like to add to that "best friend." If you are your spouse's best friend and priority, that's a hedge of protection like no other. I want that Copeland Love 💕. Laterras, when you said you gave your ex-wife the letter with the names of every woman and what you did, it was the "whew Lord" for me 😂

I love, love, love your content; love! My favorite part of all of these episodes though are your letters & your signature; your seal - they are such a window into your heart & mind - their openness and palpable desire to reach your future wifey, and the manner in which you articulate that desire is an example for us all. (Sidebar: Although I feel this is a bit much to put here I am going to be obedient and put it here because I have no other place to put it) Your signature on all of your letters will be spiritually incorporated into your marriage vows and certificate on that blessed day of your next union as discussed by Pastor Copeland. You have been a blessing to so many of us. Thank you, God bless you.

One of my good girlfriends, she and her husband met at 11 years old at a school basketball game. They married at 18. That was 34 years ago (and as far as I know 🤷🏾♀️ they’ve been faithful to each other)!!! Meanwhile, I’m still on the sidelines 😂🤣. It’s all good though.
