Father Mike is the new Bishop Fulton Sheen for the 21st Century. I’m eternally grateful to God that he exists!
@FlexCathedrafromIG10 ай бұрын
I wouldnt compare him to Bishop Sheen. Sheen is a theological giant and there can only be one Sheen. I'd say comparing him to a modern day Saint Bosco is more prudent.

@@FlexCathedrafromIGI’m 53 years old and I barely knew who Bishop Sheen was. His show had been off the air by the time that I was born and he died when I was only 9. My generation was not raised on him. My mother was a huge fan so his old books were in my house but I had no interest in reading them at the time. I have watched several of his old sermons here on KZbin and I don’t question his wisdom and magnetism. However, Father Mike has a special gift to inspire younger generations raised on the Internet. Actually, it was Father Mike who finally led me to watch Bishop Sheen videos. I simply compare their level of charisma, eloquence, and their use of mass communication to effectively convey their message of salvation. Plus, the camera just loves them both!

Open up a Bible anywhere and read the word and hear what God has to say to you…if that doesn’t help…there’s a book called, Jesus calling…each day Jesus speaks to you, and you will be able to relate to his words of love and care for you, and your trust will build each day! God bless you with the grace of His Holy Spirit which is the love and power between God and the gift of Jesus life of salvation for our souls!
@NossaSenhoraDasGracas112710 ай бұрын
...if you need to be constantly reminded every day, every minute, how firm do you actually believe? What I mean is, would your belief turn into doubt when you aren't given that reminder , when access to Mass is not given, the FBI has a bounty on every single Catholic in USA and there will come another "pandemic" to take away all access to God's sacraments and is already killing off people in religious life! How firm is your faith in God, is your soul right now prepared to walk through the fire and be faithful or will your belief dry away because it is not rooted deep enough in Truth and Love in Christ?

I'm reading `He leadeth me,' now and it's blowing my mind and humbling me at the same time. Never the less it brings some kind of peace - you know the peace this world can't offer because it doesn't belong to the world or come from the world. It's not ours to manipulate to our own ego and remove from another. It's not under our control.

May this beautiful homily of the acceptance of God’s Will through the experience of Fr. Ciszekbe be the template to all the priests. Especially for priests who self identify as ‘cancelled priests’ which have been removed from their duties. I pray that they would accept their removal as Gods Will Instead of going on the Internet inciting a rebellious spirit against The Church and particularly against the Pope. I hope that they would pick up their cross and accept Gods Will just like Padre Pio did when The Holy See ordered that he would have to cease his priestly duties. Also like Fr. Dolindo who was slandered and was suspended for 16 years. Fr. Dolindo did not rebel he remained faithful and obedient to Holy Mother Church until the end. In his exile Fr. Dolindo composed ‘The Surrender novena, “ Jesus l surrender myself to you take care of everything “. In the sight of these injustices both Fr. Dolindo and Padre Pio had the same response which was total resignation and obedience to the Will of The Church, the Will of God. Thank you Fr. Mike for another great homily.
