It’s actually quite scary how watching this made me remember my ex and how horrific that was but it made me who I am as a person and now I am happily married with a baby! It's interesting that the issues she's picked up from her parents' relationship problems affected her self worth to the degree that she became needy almost to the point of masochism. With a guy who clearly has his own issues. Damaged people attract other damaged people, and breed the next generation of further damaged people. He will never change; he'll have a lifelong series of this kind of 'crisis' at 25, 35, 45...he'll end up a lonely old man, with children from different mothers who won't be having much to do with him because they're now adults and see how he screwed up their lives. She had a lucky escape but I'll bet there were earlier red flags that she felt hurt by but forgave first time round. Ladies - when a man tells you who he is by his actions, believe him the first time.

Thank you so so much for making this video!! I had the exact same happen to me, after 3 years my boyfriend dumped me over Snapchat on a night out because his boys wanted to go to Magaluf!! I was distraught, he regretted it straight after and wanted to ‘give it another go’ 5 days later, so I drove him to the cinema and paid for our tickets (I’m an idiot) and he tells me he kissed a girl on the night he dumped me. So I went travelling for a month, found a new guy, guess who came running back! Now I’m working on my single self and completing my 3rd year of uni! Love you loads xxxxx

I think self reflection is good to realise how far you have come and to figure out what you want. At the start of the year, after finally realising how long I had been unhappy for, years and years, I realised I deserved more. You only get one life! I am coming out of a 17 year marriage and seeing someone new. After feeling single for years it’s really nice to have found someone I can have fun with. Sometimes you have to do you!
