Honestly Alan is the most entertaining player ever featured on Hustler. Absolute degen. Didn’t know about him before these streams but apparently he runs one of the biggest private games out there? $1K/$2K? $1.1M probably a drop for this guy. Also while I enjoyed watching the streamers and shenanigans and can see it bringing in a new crowd into the game, I did miss the strategic element of professionals. Would love to see more Garrett/Alan action in upcoming streams

Playing against lose aggressive players you're better off picking good spots and playing a tight range imo. Also Phil got it in for 50k with A8o, that's a really lose call from early position. Neither of the pros had many good hands to play.
@phooze4953
@phooze4953 2 жыл бұрын
@@RoCkShaDoWWaLkEr I understand how to adjust your range against people shoving the flop everytime with 3rd pair.. My point was that Phil and Tom weren't supposed to be there to play top tier +EV poker. There's no reason Ludwig and Slime and Alex should be asking Alan Keatig about poker advice when Tom Dwan and Phil Hellmuth are at the table. As ambassadors for poker playing with creators that have some of the largest audiences on the internet, they were a let down. They should've invited esfandiari or negreanu or literally anyone else who doesn't have a fragile ego that gets upset losing money to gamers for entertainment.

They played exactly as they should have given the circumstances. When the table is that loose that all ins are happening left and right while they play ATC poker you tighten it down. You do the exact opposite when everyone is playing tighter than a clam. That’s kinda poker 101

Now that I watch this several months later it looks totally different. They planned on this, they knew how Allen played. From the way they strategically placed the hot chess player next to his right hand side and Phil Hellmuth to his left. Check out every time he's against somebody the whole table eggs him on, but the one time that he hits a jack on the river everybody got silent. It was a table against Allen, and it worked. Everybody got a piece of it what professionals they really are.

Everyone keeps saying Phil was bad. But I don't think so. If he loses and whines about it, most people get off on that. Especially if an influencer brings new people to the poker community. I'm sure amateurs love winning against a reg then getting some kind of dopamine rush when the reg whines. Compared to a player like Tony G where he won't react if you beat him. But he'll make you feel stupid when he beats you which is a far worse experience for an amateur imo.

After watching the first 18 minutes. Frankly Allan dident play it that bad at all, considering how crazy this game was. He played mostly fine in my opinion. Lets see the second half, i presume tilt incoming🤣
