any vintage item? idk about anything vintage but certainly something that isnt used or is fragile. I mean if I sell a vintage handbag, i better be able to pick it up by the handle. I am sure the customer will agree. I couldnt inagine telling them only pick it up by the bottom lol.

I was diagnosed with ADHD as a kid (5 years old ) and as a adult (38 years old) I think the diagnosis is valid even if it’s at an early age. Hyper focused for me happens when I truly enjoy doing the task. The guy at the flea market definitely caused himself to be fired, I totally agree. My son who's 25 got his driver's license suspended because the state worker thought he may have ADHD. It took him a year to get his license back. He could not work or do anything on his own because he could not drive. Now he has to save some money to get his insurance and registration for his car . What a long year it has been but on his way to better days.

With ADHD a common symptom is that doing things that arent perceived to be urgent like a deadline. So video editing there would be a greater since of urgency because he has scheduled days to post videos but listing there is no deadline and can always be done later so more likely to do something more enjoyable.

With any Fenton basket or any item with an applied handle you do not want to pick it up or hold it by the handle. This creates stress on the applied handle and over time it could break or crack. That's most likely what happened to the Fenton basket you mentioned.

My favorite kind of items to sell is ephemera, I love to list old pictures and slides, etc. I am not the best at it because I spend way too much time listing it. I am really good at listing tools, machine parts, and vintage toys.

Actually you are supposed to avoid lifting glass baskets by the handle. They can be subject to wear and fail. You always want to examine handles for cracks or breaks and try to avoid lifting the piece by the handle.

Made in Occupied Japan is a specific period of goods manufactured made in Japan during 1945-1955 ish. After WWII Americans didn't want to buy good from Japan after Pearl Harbor. But during reconstruction, Japanese goods started to be marked 'Made in Occupied Japan' to make it more saleable to American Public. Its an easy way to date mass produced goods. So you can easily say its 70-80 years old. If its in the listing some buyers will care. Thought Brandon the history buff might like that if he didn't know it already

I like to sell things people don't really look for (cosmetics, perfumes, soaps, discontinued cleaning products...). Estate sales can be a good source, especially since my schedule doesn't allow me to get there right when they open. That way I'm not having to compete for the more popular things. As our weather improves, my emphasis might change slightly with yard sales. (I'm a newer seller.) I'm open to most items though! However, I do not care to look through plush. It's a bit overwhelming and I don't have a ton of space for it anyway.

You're putting the earpiece of that rotary phone on the cradle incorrectly. The earpiece points down with the narrow end on the cradle.
