In some caste of Nepal girl side need to give gold & money to daughters when they get married. Some people take dowry system in extreme they burntorture their daughters in law if they dont bring dowry in some rural parts of terai … but here in pokhara i dont know about other but in Gurung culture Husband & husband family gives gold and cash to daugjter in law.. if they riche they give more if not few or none .. mostly in arrange marrige some do love marrige with their understanding 😂
