Transportation has been a blast from time immemorial. Our society deceived and parents deceived us that going to school will make us escape poverty and successful. Being successful and great in life has nothing to do with going to school. God said he will bless the works of our hands, there is no but you must go to school. I am of the street and am not ashamed to hustle on the street. I locked up my bsc and entered the street.

Keke business is a money spinning business especially if you own the keke. More so, Korope (small bus) business. Thanks for highlighting this business venture that many people tend to overlook.

He said he is still paying in installments since 2019, and he is probably paying 20k - 30k per week either for DELIVER or HIRE PURCHASE, lets be real, this hustle is almost not worth it, MAINTENANCE is there, and DAILY TICKET is there, it will put one in the cycle of HAND TO MOUTH, it takes the grace of God for things to change no matter how hard one hustle. So please don't say they make up to 200k, gain is what you have made after all expenses, not including expenses!

You have to listen to the whole story. Perhaps he signed up for a longer period to lower his monthly payment. At the end of the day, he is able to pay his rent, eat, clothe himself and probably take care of his family- immediate or extended. The Keke belongs to him at the end of the day, when he pays off. This is good for the society, because he's one man off the street as a criminal or homeless! NO FOOD FOR LAZY MAN!!!

For real, thank you Dera for sharing. I keep telling people that all work is dignified and can pay bills. I remember one time I spoke with an Ife driver and then, calculated how much Ife drivers that do campus routes make on the average and from that point I've always believed that it's wisdom, consistency and grace we need to pray for because some of this blue collar jobs white collar people look down on pay the bills and give them more change than we think. Well done, Dera. I am excited for the series.
