Tim Swain moved to Ghana from the United States in 2019 and now he has become a Ghanaian citizen! After more than 10 years of traveling to Ghana, he relocated with his family and continues to work with his non-profit, Anidaso 360. I had the chance to chat with him about becoming a citizen of Ghana, why he chose Ghana and what project he is working on next. I absolutely love hearing stories of African American men who share their testimony on how transformative it has been for them when they reach the continent, particularly West Africa. I, too have never more at home than the peace I find in Guinea and Ghana. For years, I didn’t share my story about how I cried like a baby when I arrived at the airport to leave Guinea on my first visit. Mentally, emotionally and spiritually, West Africa fully accepted me, and then I felt forced to break away.

Hello my sister lvy, l have watched your previous video. Please expand your programs to the Volta Region. Where African American can get a land and settle there, too. I come from Volta Region. Very peaceful place to live. As Accra is getting congested.

Tell Voltarians to invest in their region and others will follow. Majority of them invest and live in other places in Ghana

I’m a black woman even though I look like I’m white and in America I’m black in white people eyes but when I visit Africa people thought I was a white woman even when I said I’m black as a black woman looking white I didn’t feel wanted there
@IvyProsperАй бұрын
I'm sorry you didn't feel wanted.
@realmaureenoyakhilome18 күн бұрын
Because you were saying you are black. When I was in africa, I had a mixed man say he was black… he quickly changed the conversation cos I said nothing . I didn’t know what the hell he was talking about. So when I went to my friends , I mentioned it and they all laughed at me. Honestly you are the first person saying they didn’t want you, no offence but you may want to check what you did but I’d stop talking about all that in Africa cos many people there don’t know black and white stuff. 😂
