I've seen way too many true crime stories where people meet on dating apps, have a good time, then one gets un-alived, and end up in a suitcase. We all know the rest from what we see on the news. The reason he probably only got a 15-year sentence was because he admitted what he did, never once denied it, and may have had a psychological evaluation that says he has some kind of issues. I don't know this for sure, but I feel like it probably went in that direction.
