Hi, Shrinkhal. I'm from Kolkata, India. Recently a heinous crime happened in Kolkata in a government hospital named R. G . Kar Hospital. On 9th August, a 2nd year post graduate trainee doctor named Moumita Debnath was found dead in her hospital's seminar room during her 36 hour long shift. Her clothes were torn apart, blood was coming out of her eyes and mouth, her body was covered with 113 bite marks, pelvic bone was fractured, one of her nails was missing. In autopsy report, there was 150 body fluid found in her body. She was brutally raped by multiple people and choked to death. Surprisingly, the principal of this medical college informed her family that their daughter has committed suicide. And hospital authority tried to destroy the evidences. When this case got media attention, people were so furious that they started protesting. All the doctors around whole country went on a strike and the strike is still going on. Government has doing nothing but hiding the culprits. Only one people was arrested till date. As a fellow medical professional and a human being, I'm requesting you to cover this case and raise awareness and help us to get her justice. I'll be really grateful if you kindly consider this.
