On the off chance the challenger doesn't pay you for the challenge, take this. If you're feeling up to another challenge: Your king is asleep and a somnambulist. He will move to any square in any direction not blocked by a piece or pawn. Since he's asleep, he can't capture any pieces. If the only available square would move him into a check, the video ends.

@@3xtblade652 people often make up different tactics and strategies and some of them fail, but it doesn't mean they stop being strategies and tactics. In other case failed robbery wouldn't be a crime, but it still is.

Interference is not when you block an attack, it's when you block defense. Like putting a black knight between two white rooks so they don't defend each other anymore.

I'm the challenge maker. I didn't define the challenge conditions percisely to give simp some wiggle room and the benefit of doupt, because it can be tricky to percisely define and differentiate every tactical scenario. But I have to disagree with simp's logic when he argues that 5. Qf4 was a Zwischenzug (in-between-move). My challenge starts with 'Proof that your opponent is a smurf' and I just can't give simp money when the opponent blundered his bishop. I accept the pin and fork though. 15. c5 is sadly not an interference tactic. And 21. Ke7 is not a discovered attack because the rook is not defendet, not even tactically. But I'll let it slide because simp forced the opponent to Bongcloud :D

Creating a threat by removing your own interposing piece is a discovered attack, isn't it? Playing an unexpected follow-up move while maintaining the threat of the expected move is a zwischenzug, no? Making the conditions subject to a 100-rated player avoiding blunders isn't reasonable. Blundering is what they do. It's baked into the whole premise. You're right about the non-interference thing, though.

oh, if anything, he proved the guy was the most 100 rated player of all time, for real. However, he did make a case for every tactic. They all sucked. There was no guarantee of value anyway though. Like i always say, something may be bad, but 7 dollars is 7 dollars.

The challenger didn't specify that the tactics must be good or be on the attack. Most of these moves were the opponent responding to Simp, so you can argue for either not being "tactics" or being "counter tactics".

Could have baited for a skewer at the end by trying Rc1 Qxc1. Challenge suggestion: chess but you're playing Shatranj / Medieval chess: 1. Pawns can only move forward one square, 2. Queen = Advisor: can only move diagonal one square, 3. Bishop = Elephant: can only move diagonal two squares, 4. no castling or en passant.

On its own merits against a decent player it's a poor move, but against an actual 100-rated player as White? There is a non-negligible chance they'd panic, move their queen away from defending the bishop, after which Qxd2 next move wins a piece and delivers mate.
