But that's during set-up and behind the scenes in the venue, pre-event. With the All Access credential around my neck, it's a different setting than a rally or protest. They seem to be more relaxed. I get it though. The people I have the most problems with is the local venue security. 🙄

The Constitution is an abject failure as far as I'm concerned, but I agree with what you're saying, Gavin.
@nomasknoway9903 Жыл бұрын
The Constitution as written was inspired words on paper written for a moral and religious people. Without action, they remain words. As Jefferson said, "The tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." The People have become lazy and complacent. The People failed, not the piece of paper.

@countysecession Жыл бұрын
@@nomasknoway9903It's certainly true that the people have failed. The Constitution was a betrayal of the principles of the Declaration of Independence. For example, the Constitution gives the government the right to tax. Where does that come from? Some dudes signing a piece of paper doesn't give anyone or any organization the right to force people to pay them.
@nomasknoway9903 Жыл бұрын
@@countysecession Hello again, cs. It's been several weeks since you replied. I didn't want to respond with a "from the hip" comment so I took some time to ponder your considerate reply. I must agree with your sentiment regarding the betrayal of the Declaration's principles regarding taxation. I can think of other betrayals in the Constitution as well, i.e. the "commerce clause." However, I'm not convinced that the Constitution authorized such a broad and sweeping taxing authority despite contemporary interpretations. This is not to say that my understanding invalidates your comment. It certainly does not, and I remain in agreement. I would argue that if the People had exercised its power to justly limit the taxing authority of Congress as was intended, most of the troubles we face as a nation would not exist. The three biggest in my mind being banker wars, the domestic policing of our People, and the betraying creation of the foreign agency we wrongly call the "Federal Reserve." Without such unrestrained taxational scope, and fiat currency printing and borrowing, none of these abominations could exist. I for one prefer no rulers and no rules other than "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you," and free enterprise in the form of unregulated voluntary transaction which ultimately falls under the category of "do unto others." However, I am fairly certain that evil men would always organize and step in to "fill the void" so to speak. History tends to confirm this, though I am not thoroughly convinced. In any case I strongly believe that true power always rested and still lies with the People, and the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. The time is long past due. I don't know. Perhaps I am deluding myself. More food for thought.

It's pretty crazy how much control the old institutions have had, but then many of these are also fairly obsolete compared to modern corporations. It's because they've been frozen in time by the government support. They wouldn't be able to cope if they were cut loose and had to compete. Those who value that distant simpler past tend to lean right and support the rights of these institutions. Should they have the special rights they need. I doubt it. But there's more red tape in getting them up to date then in just starving them of money, and so that's how it goes. Police gets defunded. FBI gets defunded. Nothing steps in to replace them. Criminal gangs will step in though, just like in Mexico if they let it go too long. Gotta get something better in place before that happens.

I agree with you but you're missing what's here. Is sign guy being charged with a crime? No. There is no victim. Does sign guy have a complainant? In theory, yes but in reality there is no way Trump is going to this guys trial to complain about his driver having to brake for a moment and then claim injuries. That's a violation of the 6th amendment confrontation clause. Now, Gavin, we're like sign guy. They make up crimes and then we don't really understand our rights so it's either a guilty verdict and/or fleeing. When the only people in the courtroom are socialists and maybe a jury, you don't have a complainant so when the prosecutor tells the judge he is ready to proceed: Object and move for dismissal with prejudice based on not having a complainant. Cops are witnesses, not complainants. That's basically all drug 'crimes' and all traffic related issues unless there's an actual complainant. You may be able to just come back and beat your case if you study it well enough.

Hi, I keep trying to watch this through but it is such a US-perspective - so very very different from the UK (where I an) that it has little relevance for me. However, it is a very interesting perspective into an American opinion on the matter, so thank you very much. NB in case anyone thinks we are without rights or a constitution, neither is true - we have no single, codified constitution but various laws over the last 800 years (from Magna Carta, 1215) has been piled upon one-another, making a de-facto constitution. There are even books called "The British Constitution" (ie by Baghot) but there remains no official document called that. Also, fundamentally, the Crown tends to have most rights, unless elements of them are passed to the general population. We do, however, have regular elections, an elected parliament (a different concept from the US's Capitol chambers) and, from that election, a government and prime minister emerge, subject to appointment by the King - who will almost always appoint them because we beheaded a King 350 years ago to persuade the monarchy to listen better to the people. However, on t'other hand, the monarch (now King Charles III) appoints and sacks - or accepts the resignations of prime ministers and governments - which is actually a safe-guard against a totalitarian government. So, with that brief comment, one might see how differently the US and UK arrive at "Democracy" - which, by the way, Sir Winston Churchill called a terrible system of government but the best we have. Thanks again and cheerio.

I remember when I could find EXACTLY what I was looking for based on keywords, even on Google ... now, for me to find the same FACTUAL info, it's daggum near impossible regardless of the keywords. Yes, it's all fake, has been throughout history - that's why finding the TRUTH is not what is in front of you but is something you have to dig for through other books/info that goes "against the grain." This is why I hate "clips" of vids/audio because they ARE taken out of text. Gimme the FULL vid/audio so I can decide for myself - don't feed me a narrative. For example: the Brianna death, blame is ALL on the cops (she's the one having a mental emergency & fell out of the cop car & died). I am the ONLY one who ASKED the question (writing on various YT channels/social media as I am doing now) - while I do blame the cop for not ensuring the door was properly closed nor getting EMT there to accurately handle the situation - "WHY were the cops involved?" With a little research, you would discover the reason the cops were involved was because: a) she was outside of her mom's place (Mary) begging for her meds during her mental emergency b) Mary refused to give her the meds c) Mary is the one who called the cops d) Mary is a BLM activist who believes cops kill blacks but called anyway as opposed to calling for EMT to take her to a hospital/psych ward ... or better yet, hand them the meds so her mental emergency could be handled appropriately. Who's at fault for Briana's death? When you have ALL of the facts, only then you can see the Truth. Same thing goes for "history." If a specific narrative (especially when some facts are not included) is being promoted, you are either experiencing propaganda or a psyop .. or both simultaneously.
