@@Firestartaboerboelsthe mentality to get out of poverty is very different from the mentality you need to thrive at the upper end of your chosen career. Granted, Jesus won't reach the same heights as Kdb in the prem. But you're comparing a 32 year old in his 7th season at a club vs a 26 year old in his first season at a new club. Man city finished 3rd the season KDB joined them and he got 7 goals 9 assists which is a good return age 25. Jesus finished 2nd first season at arsenal with 11 goals 6 assists age 26.

Pep has always rotated his squad and no one is guaranteed a starting place, even KDB doesn't play every week. Sterling, and Zinchenko also decided to leave because of lack of minutes on the pitch. Gabriel Jesus was a great player for us in his time at MCFC, and his contribution to our success will never be understated by the club and especially the fans, however he chose to leave, and pep never stands in the way of an unhappy player. The fact we won the treble WITHOUT those 3 players says everything. In Pep we trust.

One of the main reasons why Arsenal didn't win the league is because their best striker is Jesus who isn't really a striker. He spends most of his time on the halfway line. Arsenal are investing £200m on 3 players (Rice, Havertz and Timber) but ignoring the elephant in the room, which is their lack of a world class striker. They should be going in for the likes of Vlahovic or Hojlund.

I’m not a City fan but I followed Jesus career when he was at Palmeiras and expected him to do great things in City, he lost me when he said he wanted to play wide because he couldn’t be a guaranteed option at the center of the attack, signed for Arsenal back tracking saying he always wanted to play as a 9 and always seen himself as . The fact of the matter is he’s not a prolific goalscorer and never will be. Good player but not special

There's a long list of players who hate Guardiola. Ask Zlatan or Eto'o how they feel about him. He didn't decide to leave because Guardiola made him cry. He cried privately in his room and vented to his mom on the phone. He decided that he wanted to leave because he lost respect for his manager. Thankfully, we have the crying police here to tell us when it is appropriate to cry and when it is not. Now we can all just control our minds and make appropriate crying decisions.

I don’t think Arteta has “it”; if he did, he would have won the league last season and finished in the top 4, the season before. He’s clearly doing well with the team of players he has, but he hasn’t yet created a winning mentality. This coming season could well be make or break.

These half-assed takes are entertaining but let’s add some context. He backs himself a lot. He was benched for a game he felt he should’ve been starting and then came in and saved the game, his reward for that was being benched again. He was frustrated. Should he have torn the locker room apart, breaking benches and chairs? That anger has to come out some way. Then he put together a plan to keep working then leave. He didn’t throw his toys out, have a fit and stop playing. He kept it professional, kept working hard and when the opportunity came, he left. People just need an agenda.

The rest of the quote wasn’t read out. Jesus said he came on end of second half when they needed a goal. He scored and he was then benched again. As a striker some would just shut off but he never did. He was always in and out of the team and when he was on pitch he was ON giving his all scoring and assisting. Class player. Jesus is an emotional individual and therefore emotional people can cry and be upset etc. However, people like Simon are cold hearted individuals and have complete control of themselves because naturally they are cold and detached from emotions.
