Been interested in boxing. When you join these gyms is it mandatory to sparr or can you just hit the bag

Yes it is mandatory to do spar an bag work one for real life simulation purposes and other is for cardio and combination 👊 and don’t worry about sparring u will get used to it I was scared af first time 😅 everyone is so it’s fine

They will never let you sparr against these prod like you see in this video. You only sparr against beginner like you and some more advanced but still ''beginner'' with not more than 2-3 fights. A good gym will never let you beaten up in the first couple of months. Doesnt make sense also to make 100% power sparring in the first 6 months
