So a theory i remembered about sakamoto is that he has a serious medical condition. Sakamoto spent most of his early life in hospitals (explaining why he had a very limited understanding of normal life). Knowing he has a year left in japan (due to needing to move to america for better treatment, or actually dying), Sakamoto spends his last year to the fullest and does this by helping as many people as he can and trying all kinds of new experiences. However, his looming fate tends to make him reckless and care little for his own safety

Sakamoto weirdly reminds me of komi and I don’t know why, like they’re total opposites but I can’t help but be reminded of komi when seeing him.
