Frodon the little battler, anythings possible with this gutsy warrior , and Bryony frost has great understanding of him, can sulk if he doesn't get his own way , it just kidology with him !

Frodon's a funny character, even the trainer doesn't know when he's going to perform. I do think Nicholls is taking the piss a bit if he keeps on saying Frodon's got a chance in the Gold Cup. Don't think Clan Des Obeaux, Cyrname or Frodon are good enough to win a Gold Cup, and I think Nicholls knows that. He's not been champion trainer for x amount of years without knowing what it takes.

Disgrace P N. Saying Bryony gave him a good ride. No other Jockey wuda won on him today. It was the ride of the year. He obviously didn't see the replay, but she saved a chunk for the run in. He just wants to die running for Bryony.

Because he doesn't truly stay the distance, trying to hold him up to get home, but H.C spent to much time yanking him back, couldn't get in to any rhythm, at Kempton quality jumping and keeping track position is key. Frodon had both.

@@thefmtt2452 because Clan de , was favourite and Cyrname were in it too. Paul Nicholls and the owners don't make the market. All trainers put 2-3 in the race because the all have chances. I backed a good few Gosden horses in maidens last 6 weeks and he won it with the bigger priced horse and Havlin was on the other one (shorter price) the trainer don't give a rat's ass about the punters. Cud not care less as long as the winner has his name next to it. How many trainers are BRAND AMBASSADORS for bookies now , getting a few hundred thousand to have a RELATIONSHIP. If the bookies are going to lose millions, you can be sure they will away it in their favour. Whatever way they do it , I don't know , but they do it. I worked for a bookie once. I placed a bet for them at 50/1 . €150 Ew. There was a Mullins fav in the bumper and he was 1/2F. Willie was after having 4 winners and this fifth fav , was going to cost them well over 3m. Guess what. The 50/1 shot won, backed into 25/1 near the off. Fav was OFF the bridle from half way and pulled up. Frodon will win because he's full of guts and loves jumping. Can win whatever race at ANY price

You, sir, must either be an idiot or blind. Frodon would have jumped them silly. The only horse who might be Frodon in the Gold Cup is Al Boum Photo and Frodon will expose his frailties as a jumper, too, I suspect.

When the novice chase over 3m one hour before Frodons King George win is faster then you know what a shocking King George it was.The Irish horses are in a different league and as Davy Russell said recently" I'd be very surprised if the Irish don't fill the first five home in the Gold Cup".
