So happy for Grant Holloway. He needed this Gold after what happened in Tokyo. He's without question in the top 3 110m hurdlers of all time by this point.

I didn’t see it live, but other than the Japanese and the first American, these were the most humble athletes at the track and field (100-400m and hurdlers) before and after the race. Holloway fell short so many times, I was celebrating like I won the race. He did not go over the top either.❤️

Congrats to Holloway !! ⭐️Well deserved Gold. I took a liking to him from last Olympics when he and his fans expected him to win. ⭐️He didn’t fuss when he got the silver. He is now🤴🏾among hurdlers. 🔥❤️🔥 You did your Best JA guys. Take a leaf out of Holloway’s book😍😇

USA is so dominant in tracks and fields, like 100m, 110m, 200m, 400m hurdles, 1500m all types of hurdles, 400x 1 relays, pole vault, high jump, long jump, shotput, discuss throw, hammer throw
@Luca_._2 ай бұрын
Wow you discovered hot water my bro. Other than Mike Powell for the men, in all the other 7 jumps US has none WR. Now the ones who dominate in men's long jump are Greek, Italy and Jamaica mainly with the Swiss ex-decathlete. Same for throws, except for Crouser shot put for men, the other 7 disciplines WRs are not from US athletes. For hurldes by the way Americans are very very far ahead Holloway, Roberts, Crittenden, Tinch, Cunningham (don't know where he is now) and Allen (recovering since December, my absolute fav athlete in general) etc and women with Russell, Johnson, Stark etc Than… you know… Sydney GOAT! I have to admit Hocker did the impossible in Paris but Ingebrigtsen and Kerr are not Americans. So yes US of course is the best nation in general for sports but in ratio to his wealth and population trust me it's not the first, at least when it comes to track.

I didn't hear any of the commentators mention this. But the U.S. swept all the hurdles golds. Is this a first for this?? If it is, it's outstanding and worth mentioning.
