An article I read about Dubai's Policies for taking photographs or recording without permission can lead to confiscation of devices followed by elimination of the devices like erasing any data on the phone, charged fine or usually in this case imprisonment for up to 6 months or 1 Year. So it's unsure what he did to get himself out of prison so early
