The reason why businesses typically reject people with such overbearing tattoos is because the employees become the face of the place they work at. I'm pretty sure people would be rather turned off at the idea of a Furry (barks like a dog, wears an animal mask, has a fur suit) were to be the very first thing they see when they enter a bank or an Olive Garden. Another option for getting a job with tattoos is to be just really world-class. I've seen highly credentialed academic researchers with tattoos all over. Not an issue, because their employers can't afford to reject a top 10% in his job kind of guy that they headhunt in the first place. Just wanted to point out that I too had the same question as her about unexperienced people not getting hired at places like TJMaxx or HomeGoods if these places aren't willing to give them the chance to get experience to add in their resume. I have applied there more than twice and always get the email of being turned down because of my unexperience skills, it has upset me couple times before, still didn't make my way to make a video about it and rant over not getting hired, I'd just move along and try somewhere else.

She might be wrong but I, myself, had a really hard time getting a job in an area with plenty. I have an expunged criminal record but I never even got to a call back, email back, or an interview. So I never even got to the background check section. I did finally get a job after applying to at least 20 different places, for multiple positions. I've got a bachelors and work experience even, for fucks sake. She should try for Hot Topic though or some record store.
