Bradley is one of the few homunculi that has almost no powers, but it is by far the most dangerous by sheer badassery. In the back half of the anime he doesn't even have the only ability he has. He is just bodying everyone with pure skill. He is by far the coolest guy in the anime.

It's not that he doesn't have powers, only that he doesn't have flashy ones. His strength, speed, reflexes, and vision are all intrinsically greater than any other homunculus and thanks to his upbringing he's the perfectly obedient soldier. Bradley is basically a case of what if Captain America was Winter Soldiered.

Bradley controlled the entire continent, he was the equivalent of ghengis Khan and had everyone fooled. His humunclous power was the all seeing eye, enhanced ability while already being the top soldier, in a world where human weakness is a thing (unlike dragon ball, Naruto, any shonen) and still showed superhuman feats of speed and strength. He had the vast majority of the FMA world scared the moment he got serious no different to Madara Uchiha, sosuke aizen, or freeza. A tyrant who had the forethought to appear as a kind and just leader with strict morals instead of letting people know how much of a monster he was. King Bradley was like one of those exotic pets that wasn't raised properly, can show kindness and affection, but a perfect killing machine on a whim just because he can. The man knew that his people would start coups if he ruled through fear, so he disguised the horrid actions as the greater good for his people and started wars. I feel like in terms of power he doesn't compare to anyone on the table, but in universe he would be slightly below yujiro hanma, but he was too greedy and developed manipulative tactics on a scale similar to the previously mentioned Madara Uchiha and Sosuke Aizen

What I loved about Eric charging at King is, if you watch closely, during the charging animation, King is standing there, with both of his hands behind his back and the sword in the sheath. In the wide shot of Eric surrounded by the guards, the sword is no longer in its sheath, and you can see the point of the sword near his boot, all the while still holding one hand behind his back. Basically saying that King was so fast on the draw that there was really no point animating it, just showing that King had drawn the sword before making it obvious that the sword was out with his waking animation. King is a menace.

No joke Panda, you definitely should check out Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. King Bradly was always a menace, but in this particular series? He was just crazy... Especially considering how different he is from the other Homunculi. I won't spoil how, but I will say that once you find out you, that one-vs-yes in "exhibit C" becomes much more impressive.

Bradley deserves a founding seat at the table. the man turned the tide of a revolution just by talking on the phone, took out a tank with nothing but a sword and a hand grenade, and was only defeated by a LITERAL ACT OF GOD (the solar eclipse was ending and the sun reflected off his sword blinding him just long enough for Scar to hit him with a killing blow) if this man was even a decade younger the show would be half as long and everyone would be dead.

Full metal alchemist had 2 iterations. The first series, just titled fullmetal alchemist, had caught up to the the source Material early, so it eventually went in a unique direction. Different from the manga. The second series, fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood told the story again, but it was 1:1 with the source material. That may be why you barely remember it 😅
