Interesting clips, here. It's been so many years (10 years) since I last played BW. I was always a T player, as well. Watching Artosis in these clips reminds me of why I quit. I never raged like Artosis, but I definitely remember having that really toxic energy a lot of the time while I was playing. Just angst, resentment, frustration, etc. The game is most fun when played amongst good natured friends that are of a similar level of ability. But grinding it out on the ladder in a highly competitive environment was just stressful and aggravating for me. It seems like it is that way for Artosis too. It makes me glad I quit. I love watching pro-level BW to this day - it's awesome. But playing in any sort of competitive way was horrible. It takes a special kind of person to excel in that environment. I'm not that person. Looks like Artosis is not, either. Anyway, games should be fun. I like to play games that give me fun experiences and don't wreck my mood/day.

he's wrong btw. not expanding vs 2 base arbiter is correct. you have to match the tech and play tight, quick upgrades. There is a timing but it rarely works. going fast third is just wrong.

arty is weird, he seems to get psyched out by people not doing the standard tactics. Somebody does something stupid like a-move into his tanks, and instead of being smug and pleased about it, he gets paranoid that something worse is about to happen and then delays on expanding or moving out, which then gives his opponent time to counterattack and then more than likely win. I think it's just his stubbornness to accept that brood war has changed since the early days, and that rigidly sticking to what worked 20 years ago is actually backwards.

Your knowledge of the game is extensive, but your execution and micro is really poor. Especially after 20 years of playing. That rush at the beginning was so poorly executed where you sat on nearly 300 minerals with a ready pylon and instead of building the cannons right away, you chose to spend time getting the scv building the bunker. Just lay down the cannon first, then attack the scv instead of wasting your mental capacity bitching about everything. I've seen you also stack your tanks repeatedly vs protoss when you know that stasis and psi storm achieve maximum damage and effect when you stack your units close. Spread out your units during an engage, then focus on macro instead of focusing on queuing up 10 tanks when you could have saved 10 tanks by spreading them out.
