A few months back we promised Andy a trip to the fair when the one we were planning on going to was cancelled for bad weather, and we finally found one local to us - The Jurassic Park Experience 2019 in Peterborough. Although the dinosaur event itself didn't live up to expectations, with hardly a dinosaur insight, Andy did get to enjoy some of his favourite fairground rides, even though he's getting too big for some them - he doesn't let that spoil his enjoyment of them! He finished things off with a more age appropriate ride that terrified Anna!

ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 17), Andy (age 14), Amy (age 12) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

My son is 9 next week and not a small lad. When he was younger he would never go on any of the fairground rides or even the ones you put money in at the shops etc. But, now he has taken a liking to them. You should have seen him trying to squeeze into a peppa pig ride last week. :-/

My favourite fairground rides are the crazy cage (real name meteorite also known as Spin ball) and Remix (the wheel you go in like egg shapes and they turn you right upside down)

Hey Kev! My little sister is autistic she is now 13 and she was always going on younger kid rides. Now I didn’t see a issue in this but occasionally she would get looks of adults and younger kids. And the rides where getting too small for her so what we did is we slowly started introducing bigger rides so one day she would go on the tea cups then the walsers and just small gentle rides until she was ready to go on the big ones. It’s worth a try
