The Chaos Guardian deals its own type of damage, chaos damage. It's pretty much like how the warden's sonic boom is in vanilla - it ignores just about everything. It doesn't count as magic, but it still ignores armor, and it ignores all forms of protection. The only thing that helps against it is the draconic evolution armor's shield.

Defenses might be comparable between the two armors, but Draconic has a big ass shield before anything even reaches you.

Chaos dragon doesn't care a out armor, it pierces anything besides draconic shield armor. Even in my gem armor, unobtanium armor, and eventually maxed mekasuit it very quickly killed me. But the draconic one made it easy, if time consuming

That is the major difference. The shield doesn't *CARE* what damage hits you, the shield takes the hit. Whereas other armor sets/types are weak to specific things, like taking instant-damage potions or magic damage.

It may not be in this pack (likely because of being a custom slot via the creator of the pack I've nearly completed a play-through on), but there's a way in the Curios mod to make the Time In A Bottle (TIAB) have it's own dedicated curio slot. You'd still have to pull it from your pocket to use it, but it's been nice not needing it in my main inventory space to accumulate the speed assist it provides on slower processes. 😊 Pretty sure that Hunting handgun can have things like Harming II infused into the bullets for even _more_ damage output. Potion-making shouldn't be too bad with the magic mods available in this pack, either, so bulk batches (also doable with Create) would make that real easy. Bit moot now, I guess, but it _is_ capable of going harder. Rebalancing this pack around a longer mid-game would be a bit much for your current position on the completion scale, but for newer players of later versions... More to do, I guess? 😅 (I do think it would provide better appreciation for "All the Mods" if there were more need to go through a smidge more content than brushing the surface of a few, while sticking to 'really powerful once providing' mods, but I also understand not everyone likes longer grind packs.)

i figured out how to defeat the chaos guardian. make it hit the crtystals around the island, attach the crystals that the dragon hit with projectiles as son as you can and hit it with a weapon until it is destroyed, (you can hear a change in noise with each strike you do if it is taking damage). then to end the dragon, you need to wait until it doesnt have its shield and hit it as much as you can, ranged weapons seem to be easier as it can kill you within 0.5 seconds if you touch it. then once its gone, destroy the crystal buried in the center of the island (where it usually stops to charge its power), take the crystal and run, the island detonated and will kill you. took me a very long time, likely 70+ deaths and 6 hours

To be fair, it was made with essences that he didn't have and the mob seeds are kind of a pain to get.

the hive is working just fine... its showing the honey drops only for honey bottles. so if you fill the bottleslot, it goes away.

To this day I still do not understand why jardon doesn't just spawn a wither, swab said wither, make some GM chicken feed and make himself a Wither spawner and add the no AI affect to it so he can farm these things to his heart's content... Would be a pretty easy way to set up for the laser drill as well...
