Very similar vibes to "Alaya sometimes..." - both are romcoms with heavy teasing elements and a female lead who doesn't take sh!t (or are a "bad b!tch" as you put it), and they even have the same VA to boot.

Fact: The VA for Alya (or Arya) majored in Russian Language in Sophia University, but the "real Russian audience" has difficulties understanding her because that she used her Russian for voice acting, which is a different thing that she had to dealt with.

For me, as a native Russian speaker this anime is even more funnier :) The Japanese voice actors did their best while speaking Russian too. The accent is heavy, but the grammar was almost perfect :) Thanks for the reaction!

The books are hilarious, lots of meta humour. Great characters and the story really picks up... it ends being kind of a satire of harem, ecchi shows. It takes some tropes and pulls a joke out of them, very much in the style of Konosuba for the isekai genre.

I read the manga. not yet in The Light novel since The Anime is adapting the light novel. But in my experience reading the manga. There's Little to no Ecchi except some part. But It's not really ecchi. can't really explain it without spoiling what it is.

The way they subtitled this in this version is correct. In the original Japanese, there are no Japanese translations for the Russian in the beginning. They later include Japanese translations later to reveal that he knows Russian.
