I don't understand why people always gush over him. He's 27, hasn't developed his game, doesn't track back, can only play 1 position in counterattacking systems, shows zero work rate during most games, and he seems generally more concerned with keeping his image intact as opposed to anything else. Even now, it's fairly obvious he will not fit Amorim's style, but instead of having that conversation about how the player failed despite repeated chances from several managers, the story is "oh Rashford wants a new challenge", as if he's some victim of a cruel manager who didn't give him a chance. It's a joke. Sooner the club moves on from, the better.

Not only have his goals dropped but his defensive output is absolutely horrendous. The best move for Rashford is to go out on loan in January then go permanently in the summer. This way Rashford can show the club he goes to that he's able to perform at a high level, kind of like Sancho at Dortmund last year. Irrespective of the behind the scenes support they receive, we forget that they are young people who experience highs and lows, which include physical and emotional peaks and troughs. Giggs's barely needed to track back at all because he was playing in front of some of the best defensive partnerships the league has seen along with some of the best goalkeepers ever in a team that dominated the league for 20 years. As a United fan, Carra is absolutely correct here. I feel like we are already giving Rashford what he wanted all along, and there was more attention than Amad.
