Yes! I love the way we're shown the student fights and they look cool, and then the veteran adults fight to show us how amateurish those really were. (Winter would never admit it, but she was totally having fun.) Qrow is my other favorite character along with Oz. The contrast between his chill affectionate uncle style and Winter's caring-but-rigid style is so nicely contrasted. You caught both Qrow's "she" and the moment when Cinder's virus reaches Ironwood's scroll, nice.

That Ironwood moment would have been suspicious to me if there wasn’t extensive evidence of his innocence, such as when Emerald felt the need to warn Cinder at the dance that he was coming, or in the volume 2 finale when he asked Torchwick who’s behind everything.

You're right. It's not spoilery to tell you this since if one pays attention it's quite obvious the show is telling you this anyway. The queen chess piece is the virus Cinder put into the system, and any device connected directly to the system gets infected. That's what happened to Ironwood's scroll. The virus then gives Cinder access to certain things depending on what's infected.

I have to say, I really enjoy this release time - Right when I finish at work :D Pyrrha itching to lead so she instead prompts Jaune to give them some plan. The plan he comes up with is not very good :D It was right at the crotch. Real lucky to have aura here :D Jaune finally remembering his teammate's semblance BRUH Cant explain that part of Nora's semblance. I can say that she still feels the pain. To be fair Pyrrha could have technically snatched the bullet to her shield. Jaune trying hard to be Ruby :D Guy is sitting at a bar named "Crow Bar" One of the ppl holding the SSSN appreciation signs is a guy Team SSUN is made of Sun - the leader Neptune Scarlet David - Allusion is Peter Pan (specifically Peter in Scarlet). His colour is obvious. His symbol can be seen on his belt - its two crossed cutlasses and a skull. He was mentioned in Vol2Ep1 when Sun told Neptune about Blake being a faunus and warned him not to spill the beans to Scarlet the second he turns his back on him. Sage Ayana - Sage alludes to Aesop or possibly to Aesop's tale The Pilgrim and the Sword. His colour comes from the plant Sage which is green. His symbol is the tattoo on his chest. NDGO is a fan designed team. "Forgive him for..." Sun tried to use the same line Neptune used on him when he wanted to go to the dance with open shirt. Notice fans that are presumably from Vacuo dont put on Sunglasses - they are used to it :D One of the reasons Neptune was made to be scared of water is that his Voice actor cant swim. There is a secondary reason which is explained in the novels so let me know if you want me to tell you (depends on if you plan to look into those really) We dont know what Sage's semblance is but it might have something to do with jumping - I will point out why we think that when we see it. Regarding Weapons - Sage's is called Pilgrim and that is pretty much all there is to it. Scarlet's is called Hook and Darling - its a Flintlock pistol with Grapple hook and a cutlass. His semblance is Gliding - he can freely control his momentum while propelled through the air - which is how he lands so perfectly on the mast. That noise was hype!!! Now can you figure out who was the silluette in the WoR yesterday? She's got two - cuz she is cooler! :D Interestingly Winter has no allusion, though she is definetly one of my favourite characters. She is also Ambidexterous (neither Right-handed nor Left-handed). Ruby talking important is awesome. Winter should be in her mid 20s so about 6-7 years older. AND HERE IT IS! :P We dont know what "Winter's swords" are called but when combined its more of a Dueling Sword. When separated its two rapiers. Weiss based Myrtlenaster off of Winter's weapon. And here come Qrow and his Harbringer. Its a Sword, Scythe, Shotgun. Cant explain Qrow's semblance yet. To be fair Qrow is holding back actually - Winter kinda does too. Qrow is like "You want some booze too?" :D Nice catch - Irondaddy just got hacked by Cinder's virus! Should have used a VPN :D 29:31 - Notice the W on Cinder's screen - it will come up again. Yatsuhashi doesnt really have an allusion either. The plot thickens. Honestly Volume 3 is unforgettable. Its amazing volume on the first watch! I will try to explain why she put this fight on - later. We can now see who is/was the primary role model for everyone on team RWBY. Qrow's voice actor is quite famous as well yeah. (One hint I will give you - He has a role in both Bleach and FMA)

Yeah I'm assuming that silhouette was Winter 😅 Interesting that she has no allusion, probably one of the only characters thus far to not have one Yeah Qrow is epic! I love his kind of character in shows, they're always fun when they're on screen. But yeah I'm loving Volume 3 already it's started with a bang so if it can keep this level of hype or even exceed it then I'm in for a treat!🔥🔥

Great to highlight key bits of info (though you can spoil by over-emphasising clues, too), fine to add wiki lore like names of weapons, but it's so easy to get carried away.

Qrow's weapon is never named and we know of everything it can do already, Ozpin already said Qrow uses a scythe and Ruby said he taught her scythe, everything else was in this very episode. Now mind you I appreciate someone looking it over, personally I go over it 3 times before I send it but do make sure you actually are right on the call outs. Rykage actually literally said the thing about the Scroll himself - then he had a different idea and then backpedalled to this when Cinder gave context.

Vic Mignogna voices Qrow until the end of volume 6. He was fired after that due to a lot of sexual accusations that were never proven. Afterward, he was blackballed from most anime stuff but has since started his own dubbing company and has made a few appearances at conventions. I go by innocent until proven guilty, and it has been around 3-4 years since the accusations and he still hasn't been proven guilty.

@@Rykage_ I really liked Vic's voice as Qrow and I miss it, he's super talented - but the multiple accusations against him, including from some of RWBY's voice actors, were more than credible and left RT no choice. Moneymakers like that don't get fired without overwhelming reason. Afterwards, he filed a defamation suit against some of the RT employees but it was laughed out of court. Guy was known as a sexual harasser for years in the industry/con scene. I hope he's learned his lesson and put his life back together and all that, but the only people who still insist he was innocent are the ones who will not accept anything as "proof" because they believe women are liars who sexually entrap men, or something.

@@Rykage_ -- So, here's the full explanation: Neptune's Semblance is called Water Attraction. It's basically hydrokinesis -- the ability to mold and shape water with his mind. The power first manifest when he was just a child and learning to swim. He nearly drowned both himself and his brother Jupiter that day. He has actively avoided using his Semblance ever since. It isn't so much that Neptune is afraid of water... it's that he's traumatized by it. His entire cool guy routine is an extension of that trauma, an attempt to seem calm and in control when he's actually pretty damaged inside.
